Tantus G-Force Review

Tantus G-Force

Oh my, how does one describe the glory of a dildo with a handle?! I’ve always been impressed with Tantus‘ creativity and their commitment to pleasure, unique designs and ergonomics. While dildos with handles are not something that is harness-compatible, nor it is suction cup compatible, they are so easy to hold and to use that they should be an indispensable part of any toy collection.

I’ve chanted about Tantus silicone’s qualities on a number of occasions; they are a top brand when it comes to premium materials and imaginative product design. As much as I love a couple of Tantus realistic dildos, where they really shine is the non-realistic toy section. And dildos with handles are a divine addition to that range. Currently Tantus offers two of their loved-by-many models in a handle edition: the Echo Handle and the Goddess Handle. Others like the Anaconda and the G-Force only exist with a handle and not as a regular dildo.

dscn9917The G-Force is unique among the rest of all these dildos because it’s fairly stretchy, flexible and can follow your body’s curves and shapes. The Goddess, the Echo and the Anaconda are extremely firm toys. With a diameter of only 1.4″, the G-Force is the ideal toy for warm-up or for those who prefer medium-sized toys. Yet it has a more bulbous head and a curve, so it’s perfect for g-spot stimulation. Not the ferocious g-spot pressure one would get with the Njoy Pure Wand or a Key Comet Wand, but a more flexible, more gentle g-spot play. Which a lot of people like better than firm pressure. Different ways I like playing with the G-Force include either really shallow insertion, just around 2-3 inches in, so it actually targets my g-spot, or doing longer and deeper strokes, and getting the g-spot massaged as the head of the dildo passes the area. If you are a fan of deeper penetration, the G-Force certainly has plenty of inches to satisfy that craving too.

The handle of the G-Force makes it just so much better if you have mobility issues, shorter hands, or less dexterity to wield a regular dildo. Sometimes the angle doesn’t work really well with “normal” dildos, sometimes one gets tired fast. I for one have mild mobility issues with my arms and hands and I can tell you that the G-Force is a godsend! While using it I experience significantly less fatigue and pain in my wrists, arm and shoulder and I can basically last much longer and enjoy it without being uninterrupted by pain.

And because the G-Force doesn’t have the usual flared base that traditional dildos have, it’s less of a vulva hog. Instead of blocking the way to your clit, it leaves much more room for a clitoral vibrator to be used simultaneously with the dildo.

Another really well thought detail of the G-Force is the texture and the finish of the silicone. While the insertable part is really glossy and has very little drag to it, once even slightly lubricated, the handle has a matte finish and some texture to it for a better grip. Simple, yet genius! Bravo, Tantus!

As mind-blowing as it is for solo use, it’s as much fun in a partnered setting. The long handle allows you to do much more, to be closer to other parts of your partner’s body, instead of being down there and limited by the length of the dildo or of your own arms.

Another thing I want to address here. Anal play. While the G-Force doesn’t have a flared base, the long handle will allow it to be used for butt play with caution and not leaving the toy… unattended. The glossiness of the silicone, the flexible shaft, and the gentle curve makes it a great anal dildo, definitely not for newbies of butt play but for intermediate players. It will also be perfect for prostate play. Again, be extra careful when you use it anally — I can’t stress that enough). The toy is 10″ and the handle has a lot more drag to it, so wouldn’t get sucked in easily, but I always hold the toy, and just taking it out when I am done with it. And avoid lubing up the handle.

In conclusion

The G-Force is one of my fave semi-flexible dildos, and certainly one of the most flexible ones I own from Tantus. I absolutely love the head of this toy, the bulb is just perfect for my g-spot. Its girth is something I can handle on a regular day without having to warm-up and work my way up to it. You can get yourself a G-Force for $69 from Tantus.

Njoy Fun Wand Review

Njoy Fun Wand Double Ended Stainless Steel Dildo

Njoy Fun Wand is an unfortunately overlooked and underestimated toy! It’s been overshadowed by it’s bigger and notorious siblings: the Njoy Pure Wand and the monstrous Njoy Eleven. Yet it has a huge potential to it and might be a better choice for a lot of people (or a good addition to your Njoy family portrait).

Brand

What is Njoy and why are you talking about it as if we’re supposed to know what it is? Good question! There aren’t stupid questions and usually I am one of the last people to get the memo. Njoy is an American brand that specializes in stainless steel dildos and butt plugs. They feature only a small number of toys. Their dildos are double ended, so they offer a good range of different sensations. They’re an investment in your sex life and in yourself because they’re going to last forever. They don’t have batteries or any electronics and they’re made of steel, so they’re never going to deform. Steel, really?! For a sex toy?! This might not sound sexy at first, but believe me: it is! Why is metal sexy? Because it’s perfectly sleek and smooth, it has no drag to it, it slides really pleasantly, even with a tiny bit of lube. And there’s something both luxurious and bad-ass about it.

What’s that Pure Wand you’re talking about? It’s another double ended dildo by Njoy that you might have probably seen in porn. It got famous for making women squirt. What about the Eleven? It’s a 3 lb 11″ long beast. Need I say more? So you see why the Fun Wand has it tough? It simply has a couple of over-achieving siblings to compete with.

Shape

dscn2726The Fun Wand is certainly the most versatile toy Njoy offers. Scratch that, it’s one of the most versatile toys EVER. It’s a double ended dildo that is great for g-spot stimulation, prostate play, and all adventures anal or vaginal. You can share it with your partner, and you can safely switch orifices. It’s S-shaped and it curves this way by design (opposite to the Pure Wand). Doug, the creator of Njoy, wanted it to curve downwards, so while the topping partner is pleasing the receiver, they can also worship them orally. How cool is that? And if you think about it, it’s impossible to be thrusting inside with the Pure Wand and give cunnilingus at the same time. Even using a clitoral vibe isn’t easy-peasy. The Fun allows all that!

One of the ends is smooth and only has a 1″ thick bulb at the end, which is really cool for working the g-spot. This end is as thick as the slimmer end of the Pure Wand and I know a number of people who prefer it. Not everyone is a size queen, you know. Sometimes bigger isn’t better. That same end is great for p-spot stimulation too, without being too big or intimidating in size, if your man isn’t super advanced with anal toys (1″ is as thick as the smallest of the Njoy butt plugs).

The other side is beady, progressing from 0,75″ to 1″ at its widest. Which makes the two smaller beads the smallest Njoy insertables. The small Pure Plug by Njoy has 1″ in girth, so if you or your honey are newbie-newbie to anal play, this is a perfect toy for you. The beads feel fantastic and the curve follows your anatomy perfectly.

What is great about this shape is that it makes it really easy to play with your own bum. The end that will be sticking out is like a little tail or a handle that you can use to thrust in and out or to work your own ass or prostate. Which can be orgasmic, even for women. It’s so easy that you can do it with one hand (reaching back and operating the toy by the handle) and still have your other hand free for using a clit or vag toy, or for stroking your penis.

Didn’t I say it was versatile?

Njoy Fun Wand Double Ended Stainless Steel Dildo

Material

It’s made of the same quality stainless steel found in Njoy products, and it will last you a lifetime. At the same time it’s literally half the weight of the Pure Wand: Fun is only 12 oz or 340 grams, while Pure is 1.5 lb or 680 grams. That is a lot for many people, and the Fun wand comes to the rescue. Even if you already own and love your Pure Wand, you might want to get a Fun Wand just for your travels.

The toy is a joy to maintain. It can be used with every kind of lube: water, silicone or oil-based and is entirely non-porous. So simple soap and water are enough to clean it but if you want to switch from the back to the front door, you will need to soak it in 10% bleach solution or boil it for 5-10 min.

Applications and Use

dscn2679-copy

As I said, it’s delicious for all bodies and can be used for a number of things. One of its amazing qualities is the way it holds temperature. It’s great for temperature play. Warming it up with hot water running from your sink will help with blood circulation and arousal. That turned out to be applicable to butt play too: until I tried Njoy products anally, I didn’t know how wonderful temperature play would feel in there. It will help you relax, open up, and enjoy it more. Even if you don’t necessarily warm it up, it will adjust better to the body temperature and feel really pleasant inside.

How does one play with the g-spot? Simply lubricate and insert the the single bulb end in the vagina. That side of the toy should be facing up: the toy should curve inside towards the belly or the front wall of the vagina. You can add extra pressure on the pubic mound by placing your palm and stimulating the g-spot from outside. By doing this you should be able to feel the head of the toy through the abdomen. But don’t get worried if you don’t, this might not be as pronounced for every woman. Ask your girl for feedback. The g-spot is typically 1.5-2″ from the vaginal opening, so you don’t need a very deep penetration in order to stimulate it. You will feel the toy securely locked or hooked behind the pubic bone. Try moving the toy just sliiightly in and out, or just move it around or “rock it. Try small movements with your wrist while holding the toy; you don’t need a whole lot more.

Last Words

This isn’t a toy for size queens or super advanced anal enthusiasts. It’s very newbie friendly and can be a really good first toy not just for one of the partners, but for both of them. It’s much less girthy but equally exciting as the Pure wand. If you are looking for a 3 in 1 toy (g-spot, p-spot, anal beads) or for something of the same quality as your bigger Njoys, but lighter and more portable, you found your match. It’s also much less of a clit or vulva-blocker. You can enjoy oral sex while being stimulated with the toy because it curves towards your bum, not towards your belly.

The Fun Wand comes in the same luxurious box as all other products from the line, and nobody can ever guess it’s a sex toy. It’s pure artwork. If my pictures don’t prove it, I don’t know what will. You can get it for a little less than $100 and with free shipping from Njoy Toys, Good Vibrations, SheVibe, Peepshowtoys, Lovehoney or Babeland [no free shipping]. In Canada: from Come as You Are; in the UK, Australia or internationally: from Lovehoney.

Njoy Pure wand was a generous present from NJOY as a sponsor gift of Sex Geek Summer Camp 2016.

Key Comet II Wand vs. Njoy Pure Wand Review

Key Comet II Wand vs. Njoy Pure WandWand Wars

How about reviewing on two of the most notorious g-spot wands? Yes, I am going to try to help you pick one. That’s ballsy, isn’t it?

But, wait, Wetlandia, why are you making us pick just one? – one might ask. Because, dear reader, probably most of us can’t toss around hundreds of dollars on sex toys. Especially when we WANT THEM ALLMaybe you are lucky enough that you can buy them both at once. But most people would prefer to spend that amount of money on a g-spot wand and, say, a butt plug, instead of on two g-spot toys. And let’s face it: these two guys are somewhat similar. See what I mean?

Even from first sight of their big round and bulky heads one can tell that they’re great for g-spot stimulation. And they’ve been received equally positively by the sex blogger community. There are tens of reputable bloggers who’ve written about them and who absolutely love them. Which makes the task of choosing just one even more frustrating, because upon reading separate reviews of the two, you are mainly gonna run into reasons why to buy each of them, but little comparison.

How are they alike?

The Comet Wand and the Pure Wand are famous for making women squirt. If that’s what you’re looking for, rest assured, these two are going to deliver. They’re both very ergonomic: their design is just perfect for g-spot stimulation. No need for you to have your hands in a weird position in order to reach in, or get the right angle. They’re made really easy for both solo and partnered use. Both toys are made of body-safe materials (silicone vs. stainless steel), which are easy to sanitize, easy to store, and really low maintenance. What I found out though, is that their similarities end right here.

How are they different?

Material

What are the properties of the material of the Njoy Pure Wand? It has as close to “no drag” as it gets. It’s absolutely perfect in its sleekness. That has a little bit of a downside to it: if any lube or bodily fluid gets on the end that you’re holding, it’s gonna get too slippery for whoever is holding it and doing the thrusting. Keep some tissues nearby if you are switching ends, so you can clean up and have a good grip of the toy again. You will need it! The Pure Wand is really heavy because of the stainless steel. I mean heavy. As much as I expected it, it turned out I wasn’t prepared for it at all. It not only makes it difficult for me to hold it or use it on myself or on a female partner, but it also kind of hurts my vag too. If the thrusting is too fast, it can get painful (which is really frustrating, because I want it fast). It’s just too heavy… inside of me. If that makes any sense. Probably there’s a learning curve to it, but we’re just too new of lovers to know each other that well.

Because stainless steel can change its temperature and keep it for a while, temperature play is something you can definitely use the Njoy for. You can make it slightly warmer than the temperature of the body, that really helps arousal, because it will help your circulation. Or you can cool it off for teasing your partner and give them tingling chills. However, if you’re not into temperature play, please check the temperature of the toy before insertion. If you’re in a room that’s, say, 68 F, the toy is gonna be 68 F. Which, believe me, feels cold on your body. A nice way to warm it up to body temp. is to just hold it in your hands, or leave it rest on your belly, or any other body part.

When it comes to lube anything goes with the Njoy. Literally. It’s safe to use it with every kind of lubricant: water-based, hybrid, silicone or oil-based. That makes it easy for play in the bathtub too, because you can use a silicone lube, which is water resistant.

The Comet Wand is almost the opposite of everything that I’ve said in the last paragraph. Luckily, its silicone is matte, so it has just a little bit of drag to it, but not too bad for a silicone toy. And it’s just so, so light. Especially for a rechargeable vibrator. It’s almost never, no matter the speed or the enthusiasm with which it’s been thrust inside of me, hurt me or caused me any pain. The head is very bulky and with the little drag from the material, could be a bit challenging to insert, but that’s as far as discomfort goes. Nothing that can remotely compare to the cramping I have with fierce (or just moderately fierce) in-and-outs with the Njoy. As far as lubrication goes, you have to avoid silicone lubes with the Key. Don’t forget to use plenty of lube before insertion and go really slow. It’s a big boy! Taking it out should happen slowly too, especially if you’ve just come, there’s a chance your muscles will clench around it.

Shape

The Njoy is a double-ended dildo and on this one it beats the Comet Wand. The smaller end of the Pure Wand is a good way to build up the excitement. The thinner end can also be used for prostate stimulation or anal play. Unfortunately as far as the Comet goes, you can’t use the small end, because that’s where the control for the vibration is. And you definitely don’t want any lube or vaginal secretion stuck at the rim of the button. If you wanna get creative, I guess you can cover the small end with a condom, in order to protect the control button, and still go for it with the little end.

Color and packaging

The Comet II Wand comes in blue, lavender and pink (the one featured in the pictures is lavender). It arrives in a modern tasteful box, and comes with a satin black drawstring bag for storage in your closet. The Pure Wand comes in a minimalistic black box, that only has “NJOY” written on it, and has a gorgeous raspberry satin on the inside. It doesn’t have a little pouch or a bag, so storing it might take more space (but you can buy a toy storage bags from Lovehoney for $3-4). In my opinion both toys have too ambiguous of a shape, for you to be worried that your kids might figure out what they are for, if they happen to discover them.

Vibration

If there’s one thing that makes these two toys fundamentally different, that’s the vibration. The earlier model of the Comet was a dildo with virtually the same shape, not a vibrator, and it was still as glorious. And after all, nobody will make you use the vibration unless you like it. But it’s nice to have the option. You might be surprised. I didn’t think that I cared much for internal vibrations until I started using the Comet Wand simultaneously with a clit external vibrator. And it totally rocked my world. It gave me these beautiful, world-shattering blended orgasms. How do I achieve them? In the weirdest possible way. Comet Wand – in, steady vibration on, Hitachi Magic Wand Original on my clit. That’s some intense sh*t, you guys! Not to mention that because of the big head and the comfy handle, the Comet II is actually good as an external vibe too. People who know me well can second that: I don’t travel anywhere without my Comet. It became my all-time-favorite toy. I am completely addicted to it.

The vibrations: it offers several different patterns, some of which are actually quite nice, but I am not a pattern-girl. So I am not going to be able to ever appreciate any vibrator’s patterns. That’s just me. One downside to the Comet, is that it doesn’t have power settings. It’s just either the steady vibration or the patterns, but no way of controlling the speed. I would say that the vibration is good and powerful enough. Deep and rumbly. There are definitely much better vibes out there, but for that price and that unique shape, I think it’s pretty good. It’s loud, but definitely not extremely loud. Or maybe I just went deaf from the Hitachi and everything else compared to it is quiet. Oh well, that’s a price I am willing to pay for those blended orgasms. Seriously, the pros outnumber the cons.

It’s 100% waterproof and the battery is rechargeable. Comes with a USB magnetic charger. And the battery lasts really long. Sometimes I would use it for hours a day, and it wouldn’t die on me. It comes with 1 year warranty, which you have to register at Jopen.com, so don’t throw away the box until you do so.

Keep in mind

There are a couple of things one has to be cautious about with both toys. Because of where the power button is located on the Comet, you might accidentally turn it off right in the middle of… well, when you least want it to shut down on you. Sometimes one can get carried away (blushing) and depending on how hard you’re holding onto the handle, you can turn the toy off. Note: it doesn’t take one short pressing the button to turn it on and off. You have to hold the control continuously for several seconds. Pressing it once shortly only changes the patterns. But both are unpleasant if you happen to do it unintentionally and you were sooo close to climaxing. And it’s happened to me a number of times, so I don’t think it was just a one-time mistake.

As far as the Pure Wand goes, it can accidentally “just” crack your head open. I am not kidding. It’s a big steel dildo. If you happen to lose track of its location in your love nest, and get thrown on the bed or change positions, you can really hurt whichever part of your body happens to land on it. So always keep in mind where you left it. I would just leave it on the nightstand, when not using it, don’t let it dangle in the sheets with you. It’s a hazard.

Price

Both toys are eligible for free shipping with most sex-positive retailers. The prices I am quoting are the cheapest among the good and responsible sex stores. If you have another store of preference, feel free to buy for them or check out other stores I recommend in my “Where to Buy” page. At SheVibe the Key Comet Wand II is priced at $79, but just until the end of August 2016 all Jopen brands are 15% off, so you can have it at the unbelievable $68! The Njoy Pure Wand costs $99. Do not buy it from Amazon. It’s the most copied product on the market. The world is flooded with counterfeit Njoys, made with cheaper and unsafe metals.

In conclusion

Which one did I pick back in the day, when I had to choose just one? I personally picked the Comet wand. And now owning them both I stand behind this decision. Don’t get me wrong, the Pure Wand is an amazing, versatile toy that’s probably gonna outlive you. But as an everyday, easy to transport, easy to use, has a vibration as well, the Comet Wand wins me on its team. Whichever one you choose, you won’t be disappointed. So, relax, you are not making a terrible mistake and you are NOT wasting your money.

Note: The Key Comet II Wand is a toy from my private toy collection. The Njoy Pure Wand was given to me as a sponsor gift at Reid Mihalko‘s Sex Geek Summer Camp. Huge “thank you” to Reid and to NJOY Toys!
