Fun Factory Share Review

Fun Factory Share is something that would make most people think “What on earth?!”. If you are not familiar with feeldoes, strapless strap-ons or double ended dildos that are meant to rest behind the pubic bone, the shape of the Share will seem like something out of this world. You are probably going to wonder what goes where and how it could even work. Let me assure you, it works perfectly.

The Fun Factory Share is a double ended dildo meant for strap-on sex for queer couples or moresomes, lesbian couples and hetero pairs who are advanced in pegging. The Share works if at least one of the people involved has a vagina, since the big bulbous end goes inside of it and rests comfortably against the g-spot, while the part that looks like a dick, can be used for penetration.

And I can tell you folks, to quote Tina Horn, it’s the best gender fuckery ever. Let me unpack this, because my queerness goes a long way back, so does my history with the Share. See, I’ve been aware of my bisexuality and queerness since I was roughly 15-years old. I’ve always been attracted to women and I’ve always loved girl sex. Yet, as I already mentioned in my SpareParts Joque harness review, I’ve never been particularly interested in using toys and especially phallic shaped ones in my girl time. For some reason sleeping with babes use to be about everything else that we can do together. It was about being as different as possible from hetero sex. It was about eating pussy and ferocious finger fucking. It was about sensation play and enjoying our bodies. It was not about dicks at all. In fact, I couldn’t imagine having a “dick” anywhere in the picture.

Then years later, after realizing that hetero sex doesn’t have to be hetero-normative at all, I diversified my lesbian sex too, added more toys, and finally came around using dildos and penetration. Again, double ended dildos did not strike me as an option right away. To me holding a dildo often does a much better job, it gives me better control of wielding the toy, I can be closer to my partner’s vulva and I can enjoy that front row seat. But it also ultimately helps me give them probably more pleasure, because my hands are better trained at this job than my hips. Especially given that I don’t actually own a cock.

Fun Factory ShareThen I went to The Sexual Health Expo in NY this September and the awesome Tina Horn pointed out that the Share was her favorite toy, because it allows the pressure and the impact from the thrusts to travel through both bodies. It essentially allows a vulva-owner who’s topping with it to feel extreme pleasure while fucking someone. Isn’t this a mind fuck? Fucking someone with a dick (when you don’t have one), getting to enjoy the view and all that power and responsibility of topping someone while simultaneously experiencing the feeling of being fucked. Okay, this sounded really fun from Tina’s mouth. And I could definitely trust Tina when it came to queer hanky-panky.

Then just two weeks after SHE, I went to another awesome sex event. This time the road took me to Atlanta and the second edition of the rad conference Sex Down South and the amazing Strap-on Sex class taught by Andre Shakti. The praise and love for the Share was… shared by Andre as well. Okay, two queer babes, both sex educators and performers, were talking up the Share, so maybe the sex god(esse)s were trying to tell me to get one finally. And after all, if it disappointed me as a couples toy, I could always use it for masturbation, as Shakti pointed out (but we’ll get to this a little further down).

Fun Factory Share

If you’ve already had any sort of strap-on sex with a regular dildo, you know that as fun as strap-on sex is, there isn’t much pleasure and actual physical stimulation for the topping party. Instead there are bruised pubic mounds from the base of the dildo pounding against your mons, while you’re thrusting in and out. These are both issues completely resolved by double ended dildos like the Share. It even provides a pleasant clitoral stimulation thanks to the mound in between the external phallus part and the bulb.

Another thing about strap-on sex and topping is… well, it’s fucking hard. I give penis-owners that. Thrusting and shooting from the hip is harder than it looks. So after a couple of strap-on experiences with a regular dildo, I was like… “Fuck that, if I am going to work this hard, I need more gratification from it.”

So the decision’s been made, I needed a Share in my life…

Fun Factory ShareThe Share is entirely silicone and  comes in several colors: Baby Rose, Purple, Black and Vanilla. What I didn’t anticipate was a couple of things. First, how heavy this thing was. I mean, it’s freaking H-E-A-V-Y. Which was a bit of a let down, given that I kind of wanted to use it without a strap on, and enjoy the view of having a purple penis between my legs. Second, the hinge was suuuper flexible. Which meant that with the weight of the external part of the dildo, it was dangling between my legs, instead of being and perky and facing up, like a proud erect cock. Okay, none of these were a deal breaker. After all, it’s mighty difficult and distracting to keep the thing in without a strap-on, mainly because of its weight, but also because of lube. See, the internal bulb is really big. Which means that I always use lube to pop it in. Which, as you can guess, makes the thing slip right out of my vagina. No biggie, I decided to just use a harness with it. Joque is one of the few harnesses that actually works with double ended dildos. Most conventional harnesses have a piece of leather or fabric that cannot be removed and only allow for regular dildos to be used with them. Luckily all Spareparts harnesses can accommodate double ended dildos, do if the Joque is not sexy enough for you, you can opt in for lingerie harnesses like Bella or Sasha instead.

Okay, this was a whole new story. With the strap-on it did look like the perfectly erect, g-spot curved, delicious dildo that I had signed up for. Now we were talking.

This dildo made me come faster and harder than the lady I was fucking with it. Securely snuggled in place by my Joque harness, this time its weight played a wonderful role. It transmitted every push, every thrust, every movement, and pressed against my g-spot. The amount of pressure and the feeling of being so full were just out of this world. It’s also so fun to have someone give the dildo a hand job or suck on it, since that was all transmitted in the form of a wonderful movement inside of me, which provided me with blissful stimulation. Not as much as using it for penetration did, but close enough.

A few weeks later I was lucky to experience bottoming with the Share. And, oh dear Lord, I can’t tell you how perfect this g-spot curve is. The coronal ridge of the phallus is simply one of the best shaped things I’ve had in my vagina. Being on the receiving end of this toy made me have an even greater appreciation for it. I almost squirted all over the place, but because we didn’t have any Liberator Throe, I asked my girl to slow down a bit.

Positions

Fun Factory ShareAs I already mentioned, using it with a strap-on allows you to use the Fun Factory Share in every imaginable position. But if you are ambitious and want to use it as a strapless strap-on, my recommendations would be the following. Make gravity work for you. If the partner topping is standing on their feed, or pretty much in any upright position, such as doggy style or missionary, this is probably going to fail you a great deal, because gravity is working against you. Instead, be a pillow queen for a change and lie on your back. Have the bottom go on top of you. Cowgirl is about one of the positions that works best with the strapless Share. Or sit on a chair and have them ride you.

Because of how extremely pleasurable the g-spot curve is, I would always recommend positions that have the curve facing the front wall of the vagina of the receiver (in the case of two vulva-owners using it). Anything that has you face each other would work: missionary, cowgirl, at the edge of the bed on your back with legs on their shoulders, while the top is standing upright next to the bed.

The Share and Solo Sex

Don’t be fooled that this double ended dildo is just a toy for couple play only. In fact its shape works perfectly as a solo toy. Masturbating with it can be quite fun, especially if you are a size queen or a g-spot stim maniac. What the Share does is turn into a dildo with a handle. You would put the bulbous part inside of you and masturbate by jerking off the cock. I mean, isn’t that even more of a gender fuckery?

Share in Different Sizes

Fun Factory Share, Share XL and Share Petite

While the Share is a great dildo, it’s still an average in size. Luckily there’s more that Fun Factory can offer. The Share XL is more girthy and has a lovely texture to it, if you are into that. The difference in size is not that huge, compared to the regular Share, but the grooves and ridges provide much more intense sensation. Some people hate texture, because it can chafe and be painful if you have more sensitive vaginal walls (or rectum). So it really depends on your own preferences, but unless you are sure about the extra ridges, I would stick to the regular Share. And there’s the Fun Factory Share Petite which has a tiny phallus for the receiver, making it perfect for beginner peggers or for people with vaginismus or ones that only want to take something as big as a finger. If you want to throw some vibration into the mix, there’s the ShareVibe by Fun Factory, which has a slightly different shape. Both the internal bulb is a bit different, but also the cock doesn’t have any coronal ridge. In other words there’s no head of the penis, which is better for pegging and anal play, but will provide less g-spot stimulation for vaginal play. I haven’t used the ShareVibe, but I’ve held it in stores and the hinge is much less flexible than the one on the Share dildo, so at least they’ve addressed that issue.

The Share and Pegging

As I already mentioned in the previous paragraph, if you are new to pegging, you should absolutely start with the Share Petite. The anal sphincters are much tighter and will provide more resistance, so I would definitely use any of the Shares with a strap-on, if I were to use it for pegging.

A Few Things to Consider

dscn3087There are a few things to keep in mind before committing to buying the Share. One is that it needs a lot of lube, especially on the part of the dildo that looks like a penis, if you are going to use it without a condom. The Fun Factory silicone is kind of known for having a lot of drag to it. Another thing is that you might need a lot of warm-up to be able to take the bulb, if you are topping with it. It’s kind of big and it’s not the kind of thing I will pop into my vagina without working my way to it. The entire toy is made of silicone, so it can be boiled and there isn’t anything that makes using it with a condom mandatory, since silicone is non-porous. But if you are in a setting where you can’t properly sanitize a dildo and you might want to share it with a partner you are not fluid bonded with, you will need to cover it with a condom. And here’s the challenge. The base of the Share gets wider, so a condom just doesn’t stay put on the cock. But I found that if I tuck the condom under the stretchy O-ring of my SpareParts harness, it does stay in place. And I’ve mentioned this before, but it cannot emphasize this enough – the hinge is really flexible, so without the harness, the dong is going to dangle between your legs.

In a nutshell

Even with these few things to keep in mind, I still think that the Fun Factory Share is one of the best double ended dildos on the market and I absolutely love using it for girl sex and sometimes even for masturbation.

TRUSKYN Tru Feel Dildo Review

If you’ve ever used a dildo or any sex toy, one issue that comes up time and time again is firmness. Often silicone sex toys are extremely firm and feel too hard and plastic-y. Not that a dildo should necessarily feel like a penis — sometimes different materials such as glass or steel can feel amazing and bring new sensations. But still — a lot of vulva-owners really dig the squishy softness that humans have to their flesh. Super firm dildos can be really chafing, not to mention downright painful. This is why the adult industry has been trying to sell us a bunch or “real-feel” toys, most of which made of really questionable materials. Most of the time if a sex toy is super soft and realistic, this means that it’s simply made of some soft of termoplastic elastomer and is porous, ergo not entirely body-safe. Many brands come up with their own materials and call them cyberskin, or c-flex, silla-gel or whatever on earth name they chose for their poisons. They aim to confuse the consumer and avoid the actual question: “What is it made of?”. This is why raised my eyebrows the first time I saw “TRUSKYN” by Doc Johnson. I’ve already reviewed one item from the line, a penis stroker, and I’ve had my inner doubts whether Doc wasn’t pulling our leg again. But indeed, their TRUSKYN line is made by a dual density silicone.

Which is fantastic news, since this thing is so ridiculously squishy and pleasant! I’ve tried dual density silicone formulas before — by Tantus and by Vixen, and this is by far the softest and the squishiest toy I’ve tried. At the same time, if you are freaked out by realism, most of their dildo models are in fact non-realistic. This is why I chose to review the Tru Feel, it looked funky and different.

Packaging

The Tru Feel Dildo arrives in a tasteful box, and contains a storage bag and a lube. I threw away the latter instantaneously, because it contains propylene glycol. The dildo also comes with a little package of powder. Because of the softer density of the silicone on the outside, after you wash it, it can feel a little tacky. So they recommend that you powder it up, to get back that skin-like finish. I wouldn’t use the powder for anything in the world, since it’s kind of difficult to wash off, and I don’t want any of that sh*t going into my vagina. Yes, without the powder, the dildo won’t feel as velvety to the touch, but you are going to use it, right, not squeeze it as a stress ball, and the tackiness of the material isn’t anything you’re going to feel when you actually use it. In any case you will need to wash off the powder before using the dildo, so unless you are going to hold in your hands the dildo in-between uses, I don’t see any point in using the powder.

Specifications

The Tru Feel Dildo comes in black or blue. It’s a medium to small size dildo of total length of 6.5″, out of which 5.5″ are insertable and it’s 1.5″ wide (in diameter). It has small balls, which, like the dildo, are non-realistic. It doesn’t have a suction cup, but it is harness-compatible and anal-safe. It has s texture to it, enough to make you feel something upon insertion, but not too much to actually be painful or unpleasant.

How does it feel?

TRUSKYN Tru Feel Dildo

Because of its size and how squishy the silicone is I find the Tru Feel dildo a great choice for warm-up or for people who don’t like girthy or super long toys. It’s a fantastic choice for a first dildo, or for someone who only has firm dildos and wants to try something softer. The bendiness and pliability of the material also makes it superb for strap on sex, especially if you are new to it. Firstly, the base of the dildo is also soft, so it’s not going to uncomfortably press against and bruise the pubic mound of the person wearing it, and secondly, if you are not really good at aiming and don’t have a whole lot of experience with using a strap-on on someone, this dildo is not going to hurt them an unpleasant way while pounding. It’s also really enjoyable for anal sex experience: both for pegging or for anal play. It’s almost a butt-plug-like, since it gets narrow at the base.

Video

Check out this video to get a better idea of how squishy and flexible this dildo is.

In a nutshell

This is a fabulous dildo for anyone who likes dildos on the smaller side, or who prefers really soft, squishy and flexible toys. It’s great for both vaginal and anal sex, solo or partnered use, handheld or with a strap-on. It’s the most realistic (in feel) silicone toy for this price. Unless you are looking for something with a prominent g-spot curve, I would say the Tru Feel Dildo is a great choice. If you want something slightly curved and more girthy, you should check out the Tru Curve instead. The Tru Feel dildo sells for $44 and as much as I love Tantus dildos, they’re much firmer and maybe not a really good choice for everybody.

Joque SpareParts Harness Review

Joque SpareParts Harness Review

I will have to start this review with a confession. I’ve been sleeping with women for 10+ years and up until a few weeks ago I’ve never used a strap-on. I just have never felt the “need” to. Dicks were definitely not missed during my girl time. I used to rarely even use any toys during my lesbian sex. All we wanted were our bodies, almost as if to prove that we’re enough and that we can get the job done on our own terms.

But people grow and develop, and surprisingly to me, even I grew-up. And realized that steering clear from any kind of sex or pleasure, is staying in a box. To me sex represents liberation and being free. So if I were in fact, bisexual, pansexual, pleasure-driven, sex-positive woman, why run away from something that even remotely represented heteronormative sex?  What I realized is that incorporating a phallus doesn’t make me less of a feminist, less of a lesbian, or less of who I am. Isn’t girl sex all about that? It can be anything you want it to be. So many things ARE sex, and sometimes just humping someone’s leg through their clothes can be sex. So throw whatever you want in the mix and redefine what you call sex.

With that introduction in mind, my curiosity about strap-on sex grew bigger and bigger. I already owned an impressive collection of Tantus dildos that are all strap-on compatible. And clearly I’ve heard legends about the SpareParts harnesses. So not surprisingly, this is the first harness I picked to review.

Brief intro to harnesses

A harness is the garment that holds the dildo. A number of brands will sell you both in one package, and the complete package is usually called strap-on. The reason some companies sell these together, is that depending on the kind of harness one is using, the harness might not fit most dildo sizes.  How most harnesses work is by using O-rings. The ring will fit a certain girth, and if you want to change dildos mid-session, you have to unclip the O-ring, change it to a size that fits, and then put the new dildo and clip back on the ring. If it sounds like a pain, that’s because it IS.

And if we were to separate harnesses into two big categories, those would be: ones that are adjustable and you don’t have to worry that much about fitting, because they can be tightened or loosened up. And there are the ones that look like underwear, briefs or undies: like the Bella, Sasha, or the Tomboi from SpareParts. For those you need to make sure that you’re fitted correctly. If it’s too tight it will give you a muffin top and it will be difficult to move around, let alone fuck someone, and if it’s too loose, it’s not going to give you enough support.

About SpareParts

SpareParts specialize in high-quality super versatile harnesses. Most of their models hold patents, and they’ve received a number of awards. SpareParts is absolutely the best brand when it comes to non-leather or non faux-leather harnesses. Most of their things are made by materials such as spandex, have a number of adjustable parts and are made with comfort, convenience and durability in mind. They are definitely expensive, compared to a number of other brands and products, but they will last you years of fuss-free and hassle-free strap-on sex.

Their packaging looks more like high-end lingerie, and this certainly adds to the whole experience.

About Joque

Joque by SpareParts is by far the most notorious harness ever made. It’s loved by many, praised by sex bloggers, recommended by sex educators and hugely used by members of different lifestyles. If you are looking for one harness to end all harnesses, look no further, Joque found you.

Joque only comes in two sizes, because each of them can fit waist sizes ranging from 20”-50” or 35”-65”. Everything on it is customizable: the leg straps, the waist straps. If you are anything like me and your weight fluctuates a lot, investing your money in Joque is probably the smartest thing.  It’s a two-strap jokey style harness. You can wear your sexy g-string underneath and tease your partner with your hot bootie, or not leave things to imagination and go commando. Joque is breathable, washable and is entirely hygienic, it can be shared with partners (if washed between uses), and that’s not going to shorten its life, because it’s made of highly durable materials. It comes in several colors: black, white, purple, red and blue.

Features

It has a stretchy O-ring that can accommodate dildos of different sizes. All you will need your dildo to have is a flared base. Joque has two little pockets above and below the O-ring, in which you can fit small vibrators. Changing dildos is really easy, the waist of the harness is Velcro, you just loosen it up, take dildo 1 out and put dildo 2 in. It’s simple as that. You don’t have to worry about wearing it underneath your clothes. As I said, it’s super comfortable and even if you’re going out and just want to wear it underneath your jeans or skirt, it’s barely noticeable.

Applications

Joque is a great harness for a number of scenarios. It can be used for pegging (that’s when a woman fucks a man in the ass with strap-on), because it can accommodate even smaller dildos, it’s great for girl sex, it can also be used with a double-ended dildo, such as The Share Double by Fun Factory, because it’s crotchless and has one’s vulva exposed and easily playable with.  The last thing makes it perfect for FMF or FFF threesomes. While one of the girls is fucking the other with the strap-on, she can simultaneously receive penetration or other genital play from the guy (or a third woman with a strap-on).

Tips for more enjoyable topping with Joque

Joque SpareParts Harness ReviewThe top in strap-on sex is the one wearing the strap on and the one penetrating.  Overall people seem to think that there isn’t much one in this position can to do receive pleasure. I am not talking just purely the pleasure of having sex and giving someone else joy. But let’s face it, it’s a lot of work, and there’s not much happening in the top’s nether regions.

So what can be done to fix that? One thing that I love is wearing Kegel balls while using a strap-on. The motions will move the balls around, will cause you to clench around them, and that alone can make you cum. Try wearing a vibrating egg. Or putting a little vibe in the pouch. People seem to love their We-Vibe Tango for that job, but I honestly love my Eva by Dame.  Another trick for less pain from the base of the dick pressing against your mons: get a dildo with a soft base meant for strap-on play, such as the Royale line by Vixen.  Or buy one of these little pillows for underneath the base of the dildo.

In conclusion

Joque turned out to be everything I’ve imagined it would be. It’s not just a lot of talk and fuss. It sells for $114.95 at Peepshowtoys and you can get 10% off with code: WETLANDIA. It’s absolutely worth every dime. If you can’t afford it even at this price, I would say: save your money, wait for some Black Friday or Christmas Sales, to get Joque even a bit more discounted, and save yourself the whole trouble of wasting money on disappointing harnesses. And put your Joque (and your Njoy toys) in the prenup. You will want to take these, and they will last you that long.

Tantus Echo Review

Tantus Echo Vibrator Dildo

The meaning of it all…

First dildo review for my website! Squeee! How did I publish 20 posts and not a single one focusing on dildos? The universe is mysterious. Actually, this isn’t just a coincidence. It speaks of the state of the industry, and it speaks even more of the average customer’s preferences. Contrary to the common misconception, “a big dick” is not what women covet. Their orgasmic needs far exceed the crave for a phallus. These days we don’t seek a “replacement” or something that mimics the reality. We buy weird horseshoe shaped gadgets and novelties, we demand that our toys can be operated from the other end of the world, and we’re all hyped up about couples’ toys.

A fellow sex educator who works at a sex store said: people think that dildos are for dykes.

Let me tell you something. Dildos are for everybody. Straight or gay, man or woman, cisgender (identifying as the sex you were biologically born with) or transgender. And dildos can be freaking great. Yes, you are normal. You are not a pervert if you already own or want to buy a dildo. No, it’s not going to replace your partner. And no, you are not going to get “addicted” to it and never go back to “the real thing”.

Tantus Echo Vibrator DildoWhy are dildos so cool? To start with, dildos with flared bases, such as all Tantus products, are harness compatible and anal-safe. They’re easy to hold and you can use them on yourself or a partner can use them on you. Dildos nowadays come in all sorts of cool colors and shapes and don’t have to be realistic one bit. They can enhance your sex life even if you have a male partner already, because you can get a dildo with a different size than your partner’s equipment, and most importantly, you can pick one that has a pronounced g-spot curve. Sometimes you need to start small and a smaller toy is a great way to warm up for intercourse.

To the point…

Tantus is a company that is extremely sex-positive, has a really comprehensive website with lots of information and advices on it, and offers both realistic as well as really creative and unusual dildos. Their boxes are not pornographic or cheesy. So take a deep breath and repeat after me: owning a dildo is fun!

What the fudge?!

Yes, it’s a dick with 5 heads. Echo! The sensation of inserting the glans of the penis is echoed 5 times. I doubt that I am the only one that loooooves that moment, that first slide in, that delightful sensation of the head of the penis entering your vagina or anus and the rim of the glans rubbing against your opening… and then past the g-spot… Ahhh… can this last forever? Apparently it can! It feels as good as you’re imagining it. Believe me!

Sooo… how big is it?

Tantus Echo is 6.5″ long and 1.55″ at its widest (diameter). If you are not a fan of such deep penetration, you can absolutely enjoy it without taking it all in. In the dildo world, this is a medium-sized dildo. Usually smaller dildos are used for either warming up, or for pegging (when a woman wears a strap on an uses it anally on a male partner). A lot of people go way overboard and get a 2″ x 7″ dildo  as their first toy. I would say; start smaller, too big can be painful and requires a lot of building up to it. If you are advanced in butt play, this toy is really, really fantastic for anal penetration because the shape is the closest a cock can be to anal beads. A lot of my Tantus toys are way wider and I am not even dreaming of trying them in the back door, but this one passes the challenge quite successfully. It also has a certain smoothness and roundness that makes it particularly pleasant for anal adventures.

What else does it do?

This toy is quite accomplished at “just” being a dildo. Great for thrusting or squeezing your vaginal muscles and contracting around it. But if you are looking for more, there is more. It’s actually a vibrating dildo. It comes with the little Tantus bullet vibe (included in the price of the dildo), which you place in a hole at the base of the toy. The whole is the same size as most bullet vibes, so if you have an even more powerful vibrator, such as We-Vibe Tango/Salsa, it can fit it. The bullet is a one-speed waterproof vibrator, that is powered by one 1.5 V Type battery (not AA nor AAA, it actually lasts much longer). It comes with the battery, but you need to open it and remove the battery protection. And if something happens to the vibrator and one day it breaks, you can easily get a new one from Tantus, without having to replace your whole toy.

Another awesome feature that all Tantus vibrating dildos or plugs offer is that the toy is compatible with the ultra strong Tantus Suction Cup. This turns your toy into a hand-free joy. You can attach it to any surface and use it as if you’re having intercourse. You can attach it on the floor, facing up, get some pillows for your knees and ride it, or you can place it on any wall or vertical surface and have the dildo penetrate you from behind. If your hands tend to get tired from holding the dildo, or if you like a sensation closer to actual intercourse, that’s a great feature.

As I mentioned before, it’s harness compatible. Great for girl sex, or for pegging. While you’re at it you can grab a strap-on from Tantus too. They thought of everything!

How to make most of it

Experiment with your dildo. Don’t assume how you’re supposed to be using it. Jamming it in and a lot of friction might look great in porn, but that’s probably not how you would like to masturbate or be stimulated. Also try holding the dildo still while “humping” it with moves from your pelvis. And, of course, check out the vibration. You can remove the bullet from the toy and actually use it separately on your clit. A combination of g-spot stimulation from penetration and vibration on your clitoris might be your formidable orgasmic combo.

If you own a wand vibrator, such as the Hitachi Magic Wand or the Doxy, try touching the base of the toy with the wand, while the toy is inside of you. That’s going to make the whole toy vibrate in a much stronger and rumbly fashion, which is another entirely different sensation for you to explore.

Final words

I think that the Echo is one of the coolest ideas Tantus had and brought into the world. I love that it’s not too girthy, that it provides me with the repeated sensation of being penetrated by the head of the penis again and again. And I’ve taken advantage of all the ways this toy can be used: as a vibrator, with a suction cup, with a strap on, as an anal dildo. It’s made of body-safe silicone and comes in two gorgeous colors: pearl white and midnight purple. The reason mine is neither is that I bought it from their Grab Bag section, which has their “surprise” colors, mixtures and swirls. If you’re into some mystery, I’d suggest you try their grab bags because they’re cheaper than the regular price. If you have strong color preferences go with the regular one. If you don’t care much about the vibration, using it with a suction cup or a strap-on, Echo has a version with a longer handle, which makes the dildo much more easy to hold and use (and it also seems that they have a pink one, if you accidentally have fallen in love with mine).

You can boil your toy for sanitation and have the peace of mind that it’s completely non-porous. Basically unless you lose it, or your dog chews on it, nothing’s going to ever happen to it. Being made of the regular Tantus silicone blend, and not their softer O2 line, it’s a little hard and stiff. Shiny silicone has a drag to it, so use plenty of lube (stick with water-based or hybrid lube for silicone toys), especially upon initial insertion.

It’s one of my fave dildos and I absolutely recommend it to anyone who likes texture and doesn’t need a really pronounced g-spot curve. Is it newbie friendly and could it be one’s first toy? Hell yeah!

Note: Tantus Echo was not provided to me in exchange of a review; it’s been a happy part of my toy family for a while now.
