Tantus Rumble Dorado Head Review

Tantus Rumble Dorado Head

You already know that Tantus is a company particularly close to my heart. What they create is almost always pure genius, and they’re a great role-model of responsible business practices for the whole adult industry. Oh, and they’re cute as f*ck. They’ve just sent me this Christmas card.

As a person who’s not particularly able-bodied, with many chronic diseases that result in pain in my limbs, shoulders and back, I was extremely happy when Tantus launched the Rumble, their ultra light vibrator. Rumble is also gender-neutral and inclusive. It’s for all bodies, all sizes, all shapes, all genders, all expressions, all orientations. I’ve already reviewed the Rumble, so I am not going to talk much about the vibrator itself, but one of its attachments that I’ve come to like a lot.

Rumble Dorado HeadOne of the huge advantages of the Rumble is the fact that it comes with interchangeable heads that you can buy separately. You might wander how this is different from using an attachment on a Magic Wand or Doxy Die Cast. On Rumble, even the smooth “main” head is an attachment. You remove it, and then place the attachment you want, instead of putting it over the original head. This way the attachment fits better, everything is 100% hygienic and sanitizable (because all of the heads are made of matte smooth silicone), and there are no weird noises or problems with transmitting the vibration well. Have you ever tried a Magic Wand attachment that doesn’t fit well? All the excessive sounds and all that buzzing and flapping around, ugh!

The Dorado Head might look familiar, and that’s because it’s similar to a Magic Wand attachment, called Flutter Tip. While many people complain that the buzziness and the power of the Magic Wand make the Flutter Tip unbearable, the Dorado head works on the Rumble in a simply delicious way.

The only way I can describe the Dorado Head is: oral sex performed on you by a cool robot with a vibrating tongue. No joking! Seriously, it feels like a tongue caressing you, but one that also vibrates. It’s spectacular! And it’s good not just for clits, you guys! As with everything else about the Rumble, it can be used by everybody. Body parts that love the Dorado Head vary from clits, vulvas, trans men’s dicks, and penile frenula (the plural of frenulum, yes, I am that geek), to nipples, balls, perineums and ass holes. I swear to god, butts love the Dorado head, it feels like anilingus (more commonly known in the popular culture as rimming)!

Adding plenty of lube on the area where you’re going to use the Dorado Head makes the sensation even more “oral-sex-like” and its’ much more enjoyable. It almost starts resembling saliva and the flickering fin of the Dorado turns into an even more realistic tongue.

It’s also great for people who are very sensitive to touch, particularly on their clits, because the Dorado is a very gentle and sensual attachment. Also, if you don’t to change attachments, Dorado still has several ridges that are similar to the original Rumble head, so you can alternate between the little fin of the Dorado, or the more broad and substantial edges and sides of the head.

And once you are done with it, just remove the attachment, wash it with soap and water, boil it, or bleach it, and you’re done! If you want to read my full review of the Tantus Rumble vibrator, go here.

It costs $24, and it’s sold separately from The Rumble.

Often Tantus toys are on sale and if you want to get you G-Force on some awesome deal, check regularly my SALES page.

Tantus G-Force Review

Tantus G-Force

Oh my, how does one describe the glory of a dildo with a handle?! I’ve always been impressed with Tantus‘ creativity and their commitment to pleasure, unique designs and ergonomics. While dildos with handles are not something that is harness-compatible, nor it is suction cup compatible, they are so easy to hold and to use that they should be an indispensable part of any toy collection.

I’ve chanted about Tantus silicone’s qualities on a number of occasions; they are a top brand when it comes to premium materials and imaginative product design. As much as I love a couple of Tantus realistic dildos, where they really shine is the non-realistic toy section. And dildos with handles are a divine addition to that range. Currently Tantus offers two of their loved-by-many models in a handle edition: the Echo Handle and the Goddess Handle. Others like the Anaconda and the G-Force only exist with a handle and not as a regular dildo.

dscn9917The G-Force is unique among the rest of all these dildos because it’s fairly stretchy, flexible and can follow your body’s curves and shapes. The Goddess, the Echo and the Anaconda are extremely firm toys. With a diameter of only 1.4″, the G-Force is the ideal toy for warm-up or for those who prefer medium-sized toys. Yet it has a more bulbous head and a curve, so it’s perfect for g-spot stimulation. Not the ferocious g-spot pressure one would get with the Njoy Pure Wand or a Key Comet Wand, but a more flexible, more gentle g-spot play. Which a lot of people like better than firm pressure. Different ways I like playing with the G-Force include either really shallow insertion, just around 2-3 inches in, so it actually targets my g-spot, or doing longer and deeper strokes, and getting the g-spot massaged as the head of the dildo passes the area. If you are a fan of deeper penetration, the G-Force certainly has plenty of inches to satisfy that craving too.

The handle of the G-Force makes it just so much better if you have mobility issues, shorter hands, or less dexterity to wield a regular dildo. Sometimes the angle doesn’t work really well with “normal” dildos, sometimes one gets tired fast. I for one have mild mobility issues with my arms and hands and I can tell you that the G-Force is a godsend! While using it I experience significantly less fatigue and pain in my wrists, arm and shoulder and I can basically last much longer and enjoy it without being uninterrupted by pain.

And because the G-Force doesn’t have the usual flared base that traditional dildos have, it’s less of a vulva hog. Instead of blocking the way to your clit, it leaves much more room for a clitoral vibrator to be used simultaneously with the dildo.

Another really well thought detail of the G-Force is the texture and the finish of the silicone. While the insertable part is really glossy and has very little drag to it, once even slightly lubricated, the handle has a matte finish and some texture to it for a better grip. Simple, yet genius! Bravo, Tantus!

As mind-blowing as it is for solo use, it’s as much fun in a partnered setting. The long handle allows you to do much more, to be closer to other parts of your partner’s body, instead of being down there and limited by the length of the dildo or of your own arms.

Another thing I want to address here. Anal play. While the G-Force doesn’t have a flared base, the long handle will allow it to be used for butt play with caution and not leaving the toy… unattended. The glossiness of the silicone, the flexible shaft, and the gentle curve makes it a great anal dildo, definitely not for newbies of butt play but for intermediate players. It will also be perfect for prostate play. Again, be extra careful when you use it anally — I can’t stress that enough). The toy is 10″ and the handle has a lot more drag to it, so wouldn’t get sucked in easily, but I always hold the toy, and just taking it out when I am done with it. And avoid lubing up the handle.

In conclusion

The G-Force is one of my fave semi-flexible dildos, and certainly one of the most flexible ones I own from Tantus. I absolutely love the head of this toy, the bulb is just perfect for my g-spot. Its girth is something I can handle on a regular day without having to warm-up and work my way up to it. You can get yourself a G-Force for $69 from Tantus.

Tantus Pelt Paddle Review

Tantus Pelt Paddle

Happy Spanksgiving everyone! Did you spank someone today already? Did you get spanked? The clock is ticking, you’d better hurry up!

This is my first post of an impact toy and I am thrilled to say that it’s going to be of a Tantus silicone paddle!

As you already know from my other Tantus reviews, Tantus is a company that specializes in high-quality platinum silicone products. They’ve released their first vibrator this year, but where they really shine is silicone. And their paddles are no exception. Again the key word is hygienic. These paddles can be washed, boiled, bleached, and they’re definitely going to last you a lifetime (unless your dog eats them). Silicone is also cruelty-free and if you don’t want to support leather impact toys, silicone is a nice alternative to vondage (vegan faux leather bondage).

Let me warn you, these paddles are not exactly beginner-friendly. If you are completely new to impact toys (paddles, crops, canes, whips, floggers), you might get a beginner’s paddle that’s actually padded and a little soft at least on one side. Or just keep in mind that if you are a newbie, you might wanna take things easier with these toys. Silicone behaves entirely differently from other materials, and these paddles are very flexible. They only need a little bit of strength to produce great results.

Tantus Pelt produces a nice combination of thuddy pain with a sting at the end. The face of the paddle is not too big, neither is the handle too long, which makes it perfect for more precision and targeting a particular part without being too stingy. The surface is big enough to hit that sweet spot. It’s about the size of a medium to large size palm. If you are looking for something with a slightly bigger surface, you might want to consider the Thwack, or if you want a paddle with a slightly more comfortable handle that can also double as a dildo, definitely consider the Plunge.

If you are more experienced in impact play, the Pelt will be a great addition to your toys. It’s a great tool to use when you’re tired since the silicone gives you more bang for the smack — even with the slightest hit. It also makes a delicious sound against the skin!

Another great quality of these paddles is that they’re all super travel-friendly. Since they’re not leather they won’t get damaged if they’re packed too tightly or squeezed in a small space, pressed against other toys or luggage. They’re also your best friend at a play party, since they’re so low-maintenance and cleaning up is a breeze, especially if you are planning on using the paddle for more than one partner.

You can get yours for $49.57 retail price from Tantus

Gift-Giving Guide: What to Get Your Partner if They Have a Vulva?

Best Sex Toys for Women

These gift-giving guides are proving to be a really hard work. Duh! But I hope they’re a helpful resource and will guide you through the tricky times of BLACK FRIDAY SALES.

Welcome to Part 2 of this shopping recommendation bonanza. Today we’re going to talk about toys for those with vulvas. Whether you’re shopping for yourself, or you’re shopping for your girlfriend, mother, sister, or wife, I am going to do my best to help you budget your purchases, as well as figure out what might be the toy that best meets your needs. Sex toys are the best gift a girl can receive, but often partners are completely clueless what to pick. If you don’t want to receive a tacky jelly rabbit vibe, maybe you can accidentally on purpose send this article to your loved ones. I’ve tested most of these toys and I’ve consulted other reviewers who have first hand experiences with them. So let me sherpa your way to the instant (well, almost, unless you are buying from a brick and mortar store) gratification that sex toy shopping can be.

All of these categories start with the lowest price, but without putting your health at risk. An important thing to try to remember when shopping for sex toys: always avoid things that look suspiciously cheap. I’ve only included body-safe options in this list, but if you wanna do your own shopping, please stick to these materials.

If you missed part 1, Gift-Giving Guide: What to Get Your Partner if They Have a Penis?, you can always check it out here.

Clitoral Stimulators

Best Clitoral Toys

1. RO-80 Bullet Vibrator by Rocks-Off for $17.99 from Shevibe

2. Vibratex Water Dancer (pocket rocket vibe) for $19 from Peepshowtoys

3. Rocks Off Bamboo for $21.99 from Shevibe

4. Fun Factory LAYAspot for $49.00 from Peepshowtoys

5. Satisfyer Pro 2 for $59.99 from Peepshowtoys. This one is not a vibrator. It stimulates the clitoris with gentle suction and pulsation. Water-proof, rechargeable and multi-speed. Read my full review here.

6. Vesper Crave for $69 from Shevibe. This is a wearable necklace with a bullet vibrator as a charm. Powerful, pinpoint and stylish.

7. We-Vibe Tango for $79 from We-Vibe. Simply the best bullet vibe ever created.

8. We-Vibe Touch for $99 from We-Vibe.  This is a deep and rumbly less pinpoint version of the Tango. Much easier to hold in place, but as orgasmic!

9. Womanizer Pro40 for $99 from Peepshowtoys. The newest version of this toy is cheaper, waterproof and doesn’t look like a something Barbie bought  while on ecstasy.

10. Crave Duet for $149 from Good Vibrations. This one is a glorious powerhouse in a little pocket jewel.

G-Spot Vibrators

1. Slander G by Pleasure Works for $22 from Good Vibrations
2. Callie Wand by Jopen for $54 from Peepshowtoys
3. Lovelife Cuddle for $69 from Peepshowtoys

5. Swan Curve Squeeze for $89 from Peepshowtoys. Find out why I named it one of the best toys I’ve tried in 2016.
6. L’Amourose PRISM V for $99 from Peepshowtoys. Epiphora absolutely loved this g-spot vibe.
7. We-Vibe Rave for $119 from We-Vibe. If you only get to choose one toy of this whole guide, I’d say: get We-Vibe Rave. I haven’t published my review of it yet, and that’s because it always leaves me speechless.
8. Fun Factory Moody for $139.99 from Peepshowtoys
9. L’Amourose Rosa for $159 from Peepshowtoys

10. Lelo Mona 2 for $169 from Peepshowtoys

5. The BJ Dildo for $78 from Good Vibrations. This dildo creates a pleasurable suction on the wearer’s clitoris, when sucked. If you are into all sorts of queer gender fuckery, this might be a dream come true.
6. Tantus Cush O2 dual density silicone dildo for $84.06 from Tantus
7. Tantus Slick Large dual density silicone dildo for $89 from Tantus
8. Fun Factory Bouncer for $99 from Good Vibrations.  This dildo has bouncing balls inside of it that move as you thrust. Pretty cool, huh?
9. VixSkin Mustang dual density silicone dildo for $99.99 from Shevibe in skin colors or bright multicolor

10. FunFactory Share for $106 from Good Vibrations. This is a great double ended dildo with a bulbous part to be worn internally by the one topping for equal pleasure. It can be used for masturbation too, since grabbing it by the shaft actually makes it really easy to maneuver. You can only use it with harnesses that are compatible with double ended dildos, such as Joque by SpareParts.

Handheld Dildos

1. Lovehoney Double Ended Textured Sensual Glass for $29.99 from Lovehoney
2. Lelo Ella for $53.99 from Peepshowtoys of from Shevibe. This little object has helped countless number of people to find their g-spot and squirt for the first time. It’s unfortunately being discontinued, so hurry and get it while you can!
3. Tantus G-Force for $69.97 from Tantus. The genius design of this dildo with handle allows you to thrust more easily without having your hands get tired of holding it.
4. Crowned Jewels Shaftsbury Aluminum C Curve Dildo for $69.99 from Shevibe. This creation is made by a British company that specializes in unique metal sex toys.
5. Njoy Pure Wand for $110 from Peepshowtoys. This toy is no joke. It’s going to last you a lifetime, since it’s virtually unbreakable, and it’s going to give you the most amazing g-spot orgasms, and maybe even teach you squirt!
6. Laid D.2 Stone Dildo for $110.99 from Shevibe. This granite dildo has a similar shape to the We-Vibe Rave, since Laid is currently a sister brand of We-Vibe. The same fabulous g-spot stimulation, with more weight for better pressure and temperature play.
7. Fucking Sculptures G-Spoon Glass Dildo for $129.99 from Shevibe. This is a hand-made glass dildo that as the name suggests is as beautiful as a piece of art. It’s as useful as it is pretty.
8. NobEssence Seduction for $145 from Peepshowtoys. We continue with the beautiful pieces of art: this is a 100% wooden dildo with a prominent g-spot curve.
9. Chakrubs Thick Chakrub starting at $150 from Chakrubs. These dildos are made by different crystals that correspond to each chakra. They’re healing in Buddhism, and help you achieve better health and inner peace, but the thick round shapes of these dildos are quite pleasurable as well. Read my review of the Rabbit Jade Chakrub.

10. Chakrubs Rose Wand for $189.95 from Chakrubs. This dildo is made by Rose Quartz and has a prominent g-spot bulb at the end.

Wand Vibrators

1. Shibari Halo Wand for $54.99 from Shevibe. This one is rechargeable, water-proof and body safe. What else can one need from a wand? Only downside is that the Magic Wand attachments won’t fit on this one.
2. BMS PalmPower Wand Massager for $69 from Peepshowtoys. Another body-safe option with a removable silicone head. It even has a rechargeable version for the same price! You can purchase additional attachments for this one, but your Magic Wand attachments won’t fit.
3. Jimmyjane Iconic Wand for $74.99 form Shevibe. This multi-speed, waterproof rechargeable wand is a top pick of many. Again the Magic Wand attachments won’t fit on it though.
4. Mystic Wand Rechargeable for $95.95 from Good Vibrations. As I mention in my review of this wand, it’s less powerful than the Magic Wand Original, but it’s much easier to hold, it’s smaller and lighter and it’s not as overwhelming. It’s rechargeable, but if you run out of juice, you can use it plugged in the cord. It’s really sleek and pretty. No attachments available.
5. Lovehoney Desire Wand for $99 from Lovehoney. Silicone, multi-speed and rechargeable. Not compatible with Magic Wand attachments.
6. Sola Egg Massager Passion Set Set for $119.99 from Shevibe. I’ve reviewed the Passion Set and it comes with two extra silicone attachments included. Sola Egg Massager is a super small handheld cordless wand with removable silicone head. Magic Wand attachments fit great on it too.

7. Swan Wand for $$119.99 from Shevibe. This is a fabulous strong and rumbly wand that looks really aesthetically pleasing. 100% silicone, waterproof and rechargeable. Not compatible with any attachments
8. Magic Wand Rechargeable for $124.95 from Peepshowtoys. What can I say? The updated cordless version of the Magic Wand Rechargeable is pretty awesome. The battery holds up to 4.5 hrs, the head is silicone, it has several speeds to fit everybody’s needs. And all of the attachments meant for the Magic Wand Original fit on it.

Gift-Giving Guide: What to Get Your Partner if They Have a Penis?

Gift-Giving Guide Penis Toys

In the few days leading up to one of America’s biggest holidays: Black Friday, the phenomenon that draws everybody to their electronics right after they’re done with (or sometimes while) overeating turkey and candied yams, I am going to release a couple of gift-giving guides for everybody. There are in fact some amazing sex toy sales coming our way. And sometimes the choices can be overwhelming. Other times, we can get tricked into buying cheap and useless crap, especially if the particular sex toy shop we’re purchasing from is selling porous toys as well. Often jelly, rubber, TPR and TPE toys can be purchased literally for a couple of bucks, but I will try to give you a few body-safe suggestions regardless of your budget. A lot of these you will be able to purchase with huge discounts, so stay tuned and refresh my BLACK FRIDAY SALES PAGE often in the next few days.

This particular guide is going to feature toys you can buy for your partner, if they have a penis. I currently don’t have a whole lot penis or prostate toy reviews, so I wanted to make things right. If you have a partner who has a vulva, you might wanna check out vol 2 of this guide: Gift-Giving Guide: What to Get Your Partner if They Have a Vulva?

Each category starts with the cheapest toys. Note that these are retail prices and don’t include any Black Friday discounts, or any of the discounts my coupon codes give you. Gift-Giving Guide Penis Toys

Note: Why am I using “penis” and “penis-owners” instead of men, guys, boyfriend or dudes. Because not all people who have penises identify as “male” and I want to focus on the equipment we have, instead of our gender identities. So yes, if you do happen to have a boyfriend or a husband, who’s cis-gender (their assigned sex at birth matches their gender identity: born with penis, identifies as “male”) that’s the right guide for you. If you have a trans pre-op girlfriend, a lot of these are going to work for you as well. I am also going to try make this guide as non-hetero normative as possible. Yes, dildos are not just for vaginas, they can go in butts too! (Even if you’re not gay!)

The mainstream media is often trying to convey that “porn is for guys and sex toys are for gals”. They brainwash us that the sex toy industry only caters to those with vulvas. That is not only completely false, but you will get surprised by how many choices there are when it comes to toys designed for penis-owners. Hell, some of the coolest new toys this year were ones that go on dicks! (Woot-woot Hot Octopuss!)

Strokers

The world of penis strokers, sleeves, or masturbators is immense. The shapes and the designs have evolved greatly too. Open-ended sleeves, or ones that look like a cup, taco-like strokers, vibrating or non-vibrating. Their price-range starts at less than $10 and goes all the way to around $150 for the most sophisticated ones. Don’t forget to always use lube with all of these!

1. Tenga Eggs for $6.99 from Shevibe. These are the best stocking fillers ever. They can be a fun prank, or a really good gateway drug into the world of penis strokers. They’re small, but extremely stretchy. They’re porous and are recommended for one use only. You can definitely squeeze a couple of uses out of each one, if you clean it thoroughly, but bear in mind that you’d better toss it away after a couple of play sessions. They come in a huge variety of textures and patterns on the inside, and each of them gives a slightly different sensation. You can cut off the top of the egg and turn it into an open-ended sleeve and combine stroking with it with a blow job on the head of the penis. They’re also a great travel-friend, since you can just toss them away after you’re done with them.
2. Tenga Cup for $9.99 from Shevibe. This is another disposable one-use only toy by Tenga. It’s much deeper and bigger, and comes with a suction for a much more realistic sensation. It comes in a hard case, which makes it completely unwashable and non-reusable once you ejaculate in it, but it’s another good novelty and perfect travel companion, if you don’t wanna travel with your more valuable and fragile toys.
3. Truskyn The Tru Stroke Beaded or Ribbed for $19 from Peepshowtoys. This is the cheapest silicone stroker you are going to find. I’ve just reviewed the Tru Stroke Beaded and I am so happy to report that there’s a decent, affordable silicone penis toy that even comes in two variations: beaded or ribbed. It’s open-ended and open-seam design allows it to accommodate penises of different sizes, and you can control the sensation just by adjusting your grip. A great toy to combine with blow jobs and teasing.
4. Vibrating masturbator by Rocks Off for $29.99 from Shevibe. This one is made of body-safe silicone and ABS plastic and comes with the RO-80mm Bullet vibrator. Which means you can take out the bullet and use it on other body parts. This one is a great deal for a battery-operated toy.
5. Fleshlight Quick Shot for $34.95 from Fleshlight. A short, open-ended and less aversive and misogynistic option from Fleshlight. This is also a good one to combine with oral sex.
6. Tenga 3D sleeves for $39.99 from Shevibe. These are simply a reusable and more sophisticated version of the Tenga 3D eggs.
7. Fleshlight Flight for $49.95 from Fleshlight. A full size stroker from Fleshlight, that doesn’t end with something that resembles female genitalia, mouth or an ass. And is a little cheaper than the “Fleshlight Girls“.
8. Rocks Off Rise Rechargeable for $69.99 from Peepshowtoys. This is the rechargeable multi-speed version of our #3. This one will give you hours of playtime on a single charge, and has a couple of vibration patters.
9. Tenga Flip Zero for $99.00 from Good Vibrations. One of the stars of the show, and without a doubt one of the most sophisticated strokers on the market. The internal part is extremely complex and provides rich sensations, one can control the grip and the tightness, as well as a suction mode. And it’s a breeze to clean, since it opens up and can even dry out standing on its own external case.

10. Hot Octopuss Pulse II Solo for $99 from Good Vibrations. If you want to splurge this toy has received some of the most rave reviews and has a really unique technology. It’s a vibrating masturbator that features penile vibrations and oscillations. It also look pretty damn cool.

Penis Toys and Male Toys

Cock Rings

Cock Rings are super fun to use. The choices are mind-blowing. Single or double, vibrating or non-vibrating, stretchy or not, silicone or metal. In the following round up I’ve only featured silicone cock rings, because they’re easier to use. Metal or wooded rings are for far more advanced users, because they’re completely stiff. Cock rings help you keep the blood in your penis and make your erection harder, longer lasting and bigger. Have you always wanted that veiny big cock that looks like it’s about to blow up? Cock rings are your solution. They can have only one strap and if they’re smaller, they can go only around the penis, while bigger single rings can be stretched around the balls and the cock at once. Always place these when the penis is still flaccid. Vibrating cock rings can be equally pleasurable for both parties. Stick to positions that allow you to have the vibrating bullet on the clitoris: cowgirl or missionary work great.Cock Rings

1. Tantus Super Soft C-Ring for $10.99 from Tantus. A super simple silicone ring that can be stretched around the penis and the balls. Beginners friendly.
2. Optimale Thick Silicone Cock Ring for $12 from Peepshowtoys. This one is pretty similar to the Tantus C-ring.
3. Fifty Shades of Grey Adjustable Cock Ring $14.99 from Lovehoney. Adjustable silicone rings are a great solution to beginners or shopping online, since they can be customized and tightened up much more easily. They can also be pulled out right away, even with a hard-on, while most of the others can only be taken off after you lose your erection.
4. Set of 3 Optimale Thick Silicone Cock Rings for $22 from Peepshowtoys. A set of different sizes is great for beginners, since it’s always recommended to start off with something bigger and more flexible and maybe move to a smaller ring once you’re used to placing it and taking it off.
5. Optimale Vibrating Cock Ring for $25 from Peepshowtoys. This battery-operated single ring comes are a really good price. It has several vibration modes and speeds and it’s pretty easy to operate.
6. Tantus C-Sling for $34.64 from Tantus. This sling-style cock ring applies pressure on the perineum. While fucking, it’s going to rock back and forth and massage the prostate on the outside.
7. Optimale Vibrating Double Cock Ring for $35 from Peepshowtoys. This is a double cock ring – one of the rings goes around the penis, while the bigger ring goes around the balls. One of the bullets is placed on the perineum, for prostate stimulation, and the other one is great for clitoral stimulation. Each of the bullets is battery operated, can be removed and has multiple speeds. Read my full review here.
8. Tantus Vibrating Super Soft C-Ring for $39.90 from Tantus
9. Tenga Smart Vibe Ring for $79.99 from Shevibe. If you know that you like cock rings and are ready to invest into a stronger, rechargeable and higher quality ring.
10. Je Joue Mio Rechargeable Cock Ring for $109 from Good Vibrations.

Vibrators

Tantus Rumble and Mystic Wand Rechargeable

Vibrations can feel amazing when applied externally on the shaft of the penis, on the frenulum and the head, or on the balls and the perineum! One can use an smaller (or big!) wand-stile vibrator on the scrotum while performing a blow job, or a hand job. A lot of men love masturbating with these: simply hold the vibe against your balls while you’re stroking yourself. Something great about this category is that all of these vibes can be shared by both partners! And as you will see from the next category, these can be repurposed and made even more versatile with the help of good attachments.

1. Shibari Halo Wand for $54.99 from Shevibe. This one is rechargeable, water-proof and body safe. What else can one need from a wand? Only downside is that the Magic Wand attachments won’t fit on this one.
2. Magic Wand Original (aka Hitachi) for $59.95 from Good Vibrations. This one is an icon. If you are looking for maximum power and don’t mind the cord, go for it. Its only downsides are the porous head of the toy and the only two speeds that might be too overwhelming for some folks. Fits all Magic Wand attachments.
3. BMS PalmPower Wand Massager for $69 from Peepshowtoys. Another body-safe option with a removable silicone head. It even has a rechargeable version for the same price! You can purchase additional attachments for this one, but your Magic Wand attachments won’t fit. Another body-safe option with a removable silicone head. It even has a rechargeable version for the same price! You can purchase additional attachments for this one, but your Magic Wand attachments won’t fit.
4. Jimmyjane Iconic Wand for $74.99 form Shevibe. This multi-speed, waterproof rechargeable wand is a top pick of many. Again the Magic Wand attachments won’t fit on it though.
5. Mystic Wand Rechargeable for $95.95 from Good Vibrations. As I mention in my review of this wand, it’s less powerful than the Magic Wand Original, but that’s what makes a some penis-owners like it. It’s smaller and lighter, easier to hold and it’s not as overwhelming. It’s rechargeable, but if you run out of battery, you can use it plugged in the cord. It’s really sleek and pretty. No attachments.

6. Lovehoney Desire Wand for $99 from Lovehoney. Silicone, multi-speed and rechargeable. Not compatible with Magic Wand attachments.
7. Sola Egg Massager Wellness Set for $109.99 from Shevibe. I’ve reviewed the Passion Set version of this set, that just comes with different silicone attachments included. I think the Wellness Set might be a better option for penis-owners, since they can’t really benefit much with the Bunni and Omi attachments of the other one. What’s the Sola Egg Massager: it’s a super small, handheld cordless wand with removable silicone head. Magic Wand attachments fit great on it and it’s just fantastic for penises when combined with the Hummingbird attachment (see next category).
9.Tantus Rumble for $129.99 from Tantus. The Tantus Rumble is the first vibrator created with every body in mind. It’s a completely gender neutral vibrator, that is super hygienic, has a silicone head, that can be removed and properly cleaned. And it’s feather light! Magic Wand Attachments don’t really work with it, but Tantus sells attachments that fit Rumble. Read my full review here.
10. Doxy Die Cast for $189.99 from Shevibe. This one is simply the best and strongest wand on earth. Find out why.

Magic Wand Attachments

Something great about Doxy and the Magic Wand Original or Rechargeable is that they can be turned into so many other things. Just place one of the following attachments and enjoy your wand in a completely new way. Again: lube is mandatory!

1. The Hummingbird Masturbator Attachment for $23.99 from Shevibe. This is a masturbation sleeve that goes on top of your wand. It’s the best thing since sliced bread. It can make even a flaccid penis ejaculate, and it’s great for folks with ED, but even if you have no problem maintaining a full erection, this attachment is going to give you the sensation of a masturbation sleeve and the strong wand vibrations at once. Keep in mind that this attachment is porous, so you might wanna replace it after a couple of months.
2. The Pop Tops Silicone G-Spotter for $40 from Good Vibrations. This g-spot attachment can be used anally for prostate play.
3. The Vixen Gee Whiz Attachment for $56.99 from Shevibe. Another super cool silicone g-spot attachment that can take anal play into the next level.

Prostate Toys

Prostate toys are a great way to discover your prostate. Prostate massage is not only pleasurable, but also helps prevent prostate cancer. Oh, and did I mention that you can enjoy hands-free orgasms lasting minutes with most of these?

7. Njoy Fun Wand for $95 from Peepshowtoys

10. Nexus Revo 2 Rotating Vibrating Prostate Massager for $149.99 from Shevibe. This is a really high-quality multi-speed rechargeable prostate toy that has rave reviews.

Anal Toys

These suggestions are great for virtually everybody, since we all have anuses, regardless of our sex. These are not necessarily aimed to the prostate, but rather allow you to enjoy different kind of anal sensations and pleasure.

Pegging Kits, Harnesses and Dildos

Luckily anal play is becoming less and less of a taboo. A number of hetero couples are dipping their toes into pegging: when the female partner uses a strap on to penetrate the male anally. Pegging can be super fun, but remember to always start small, be patient, communicate with your partner and use a lot of lube. Here are a couple of suggestions for harnesses, strap-on kits or dildos that are good for pegging.

Another way you can use harnesses in your sex life is for double penetration. #10 on the list is a double harness: your partner can have their penis outside, and use a dildo as well to double penetrate you vaginally and anally at the same time. So fun! Or you can use a double ended toy, such as #8 Share Vibe, and enjoy g-spot stimulation while penetrating him anally.

Tantus Rumble Vibrator Review

Tantus Rumble

The Company

Do you know one of the best perks of moving from Europe to the US? You can easily buy Tantus products! I am not kidding. Almost nothing beats that. When I moved to the States months before I even relocated, I ordered a bunch of dildos. You know, so they’d be waiting for me when I arrived. To make me feel at home. For years I’ve been reading reviews by Epiphora and drooling after Tantus’ silicone. Now I could finally have it!

They’re a company that always has been 100% body-safe. Tantus is the first one to make their entire line of products of silicone, and we’re not talking about a company created a couple of years ago, we’re talking about almost 20 years ago! To have 100% silicone toys in ’97 is no joke. They’ve always been a trend setter. Their unique designs, beautiful colors, and gender-free marketing have won the hearts of many. Including mine!

I heard about Rumble, their first vibrator (not counting the little Tantus bullets that are included with their vibrating dildos or plugs), last year at Woodhull Sexual Freedom Summit ’15. Back then I barely knew anyone, I didn’t mix and mingle with the crowd, let alone be brave enough to talk to Metis Black, founder of Tantus. The reality is that small, independent businesses nowadays often need crowdfunding to bring innovation to life and be able to mass-produce or even do the research to create a product. That’s been the case with Eva by Dame, the Mystery Vibe, Minna Limon, and now Funkit Toys. Luckily, people were awesome and responded really well in all these cases. Rumble started shipping out this spring first to its original backers, and by this summer one could find Rumble in every responsible sex store.

Everything that I’ve read about it though, didn’t prepare me for the actual product that I touched in the bloggers’ lounge a year later at Woodhull SFS16. The Rumble was… feather-light. I couldn’t believe it. How could that be? And so comfortable! It fitted so well in my hand. Like a natural extension.

Ergonomics

Tantus RumbleThis product is made with so much thought and attention to detail. The shape of the handle, the location of the buttons: everything is made to perfection (not to mention that it looks like something that came from the future!). The ON/OFF button is separated from the PLUS and MINUS buttons used to change settings. No accidental turning it off at the worst possible moment. The controls are exactly where your hands are holding the vibrator, so no fishing around and awkward “where is iiiit?!” anymore. I cannot emphasize this enough! Ergonomics and design matter! These things can change your whole experience with the product.

When I am pleasuring myself or being pleasured, I don’t want to be distracted by unwanted pain. No, I don’t want my arms cramping and getting tired. I don’t want my shoulder aching. That’s not sexy and that’s not what I signed up for when I wanted some sexual pleasure. I have a tennis elbow and early stages of a rare form of arthritis, I work on a computer the whole day, and I have chronic back and shoulder pain. And I am horny. I don’t want my playtime to be limited by my body and my ability to hold a toy.

When using the Rumble the vibrations travel very little and you only slightly feel them through the handle, which adds to the overall comfort, while using this toy. And at just 6.6 oz Tantus Rumble has my love and devotion.

Every Body

One of the key characteristics of this toy is that it’s 100% gender neutral. It’s an external vibrator for all bodies. Penises, vulvas, transitioning bodies, breasts, butt-holes, nipples. Whatever you got, this toy can stimulate it. The shape doesn’t suggest just one way of using it. It also features a wider head for more broad stimulation. At the same time the head is not too round and has an edge that can be used for more direct or pinpoint vibration. Or one can use one of its attachments. The g/p-spot head, called the Spoon, can actually be used externally on the clit or around the anus. (I will be writing a separate post about the Rumble replaceable heads.)

Features

The Tantus Rumble has seven settings to choose from: three are different speeds of steady vibration, and four are different patterns. You can go back and forth by using the controls. You don’t have to go through the whole cycle to go back to something that you liked! It has a very quiet motor and the sound is in no way distracting or annoying. It’s a cordless rechargeable vibrator that holds its battery for 4.5 hours! You heard correctly! It uses a mini USB which makes finding its cord so much easier. A number of other electronics that you probably have around your house use it and if you end up misplacing your cord, you can really easily replace it or buy one even from the drug store.

And because it’s Tantus, it’s 100% body-safe. The body of the toy is plastic and the head of the vibrator is matte silicone. It can be removed and boiled or sanitized with a 10% bleach solution. This isn’t something you can do with any other vibrator or wand. Vibrators cannot be boiled, and this is the only one that has a removable head. Yes, some vibes have attachments, but the original plain smooth head is not sanitizable.

Unlike other vibes, Rumble has a flexible neck that gently moves the head around and follows your shapes. That can be a little bit of a downside for some people who like really rigid vibes and like pressing them against a certain body part.

I also think Rumble is a great travel buddy. It’s so much smaller than wand vibrators, and being so unbelievably light, it makes taking it a really smart packing decision. People with mobility issues try to always keep their luggage light and small, because dragging a suitcase with a Doxy Die Cast is frankly not helping anyone’s back. And you don’t really need to even take it’s cord, because the battery will hold forever.

Using it

dscn9906Rumble has vibrations that penetrate deeply and, hence the name, are deliciously rumbly. It’s not an extra powerful wand-type vibrator, so expect an experience closer to the We-Vibe Touch or a small external vibrator. On its highest setting Rumble doesn’t get too buzzy the way most vibes do, it still has depth to it. It never numbs my clit or genitalia. A few female reviewers who’ve written about it say that they can’t come from it because the head is too broad and they need either more power or more pinpoint stimulation. I’ve found that using it a bit more sideways, so actually the edge/corner of the head is against the glans of my clit, helps a great deal when I am in searching for more direct vibration.

My man is truly in love with it. He likes vibrations and broader heads, but things like Doxy are too powerful or too stiff and rigid for him. Things can easily go from “yeah” to “ouch” with other vibes. The flexible neck and the way the head moves is great for using it on penises and scrotums.

Some advice from experience. Penises don’t like cold toys in general. And what’s great about Rumble is that, unlike many other corded vibes, you can take the attachment off, run some warm water over it and then put it on the vibe. Or just hold the head of the toy in your hands and warm it up before pressing it against someone’s dick or balls.

Things to consider

Some of its cons are that it’s not waterproof. I am not a big fan of using a vibe in the tub and the heads/attachments are washable, so this isn’t that much of an issue for me. You can wipe the body of the toy with a damp cloth and maybe some liquid soap. Also, it doesn’t come with a storage bag or case, but that isn’t a great problem either.

Something that’s completely a matter of personal preference is power. Rumble is not megapowerful. It’s no Doxy and it’s not meant to be one. It’s definitely not for power queens. Another thing to consider: if you like using an external vibrator while thrusting in with a dildo, that might not work either. The head is very broad, so it’s hard to use a dildo with it. Maybe with the spoon attachment it can work, but if you have an image of a Hitachi on the clit/pubic mound and a dildo in, that’s not gonna work with Rumble because it’s a bit of a vulva-hog.

Rumble, like every other toy, is not something that 10 out of 10 people will like — that’s why we need tons of different toys to choose from! If you like the fullness of an internal toy or internal vibration, maybe you shoud start your collection with an internal vibrator or a Tantus dildo.  I don’t believe the whole “one toy will solve all of your needs and will solve everybody’s needs”. But Rumble is nonetheless a truly amazing creation and I think it’s one of the best toys of 2016. There’s a lot of research and many years of experience in the pleasure industry that went into making it, and it truly does not have an equivalent. I can’t thank Tantus enough for creating a vibe that is so lightweight, ergonomic, rumbly, rechargeable and gender neutral.

You can get Rumble from Tantus for $129.99.

Tantus Alan O2 Dildo Review

Tantus Alan O2

The bullet vibrator actually doesn’t stick out at all, I wanted to have it visible for the picture, that’s why it’s not pushed all the way in.

Alan… Dear Alan, I was so freaked out when I first opened the package from Tantus and saw… you. Staring at me from the transparent Tantus box. All realistic, veiny, lots of detail, average-sized dildo with zero curve to it. A straight dick in a box. Oh, boy, what did I sign up for?

To give you some context, I do own a fair number of Tantus toys in my personal toy box. But most of them are among their older creations: some of which are discontinued, some of which are just old news in this community. I needed my posts to be relevant, and most importantly, to be review things one can actually purchase. I don’t need to brag that I have the whole Tantus Alumina line and you can’t get it anywhere now. Ooops, I just did it! But at least I didn’t write a whole post about it and rub it in your face. So while I was exchanging emails with the Tantus team about which of their products I wanted to review, I clearly had to pick the Rumble (a review coming up soon) and I definitely needed to ask for a dual density silicone toy, since I don’t own one. So I was up for a surprise when it came to which toy it would actually be.

I came back from my trip to New York where I had spent the weekend at the Sexual Health Expo, and there was this wonderful surprise from Tantus in my mail. But I was not mentally prepared for Alan. For whatever reason my first thought was: Wow, that’s an ugly toy. I hope it doesn’t suck, because I would hate to give Tantus a bad rep. For whatever reason I thought that this dildo was doomed and the lack of pronounced (or any!) g-spot curve wouldn’t do anything for me.

Packaging

All Tantus products come in this very neutral, plain box that shows you what’s actually inside. Bear in mind, this particular box is huge. It’s not like your regular Tantus dildo box, that can easily fit in a wine bag. And that’s because the product comes with a suction cup and a bullet vibe included. Which makes Alan and it’s bigger brother Sam the only two vibrating O2 dildos by Tantus, and the only two O2 ones that are suction cup compatible. Which is a big deal, as you will see later in the review. The package doesn’t include any storage bag, and truth be told, Tantus doesn’t really need it. It’s not made of TPR, or jelly, it’s good quality silicone. It can touch other toys, their products are sturdy and kick-ass, so even if there’s another heavy toy on top of them they’re not gonna get deformed.

Okay, what’s that O2 thing I keep ranting about?

Tantus makes silicone toys with two different silicone formulas. Their original silicone is harder, and has very little squish or give to it. The O2 dual density silicone, the one Alan is made of, feels more like a real penis, it’s softer and more bendy. When I unboxed Alan, and first touched it, I was… underwhelmed. I don’t know why I thought it should be more squishy and soft. But then during use, Alan proved me completely wrong (again). It was actually exactly as soft as I needed it to be. Anything softer was not going to apply enough pressure and give me as much pleasure.

So Alan had lots of tricks and surprises up its sleeve. All of my first impressions were so, so wrong.

What is it like?

Tantus Alan O2

The new O2 vibes (Alan, Sam, the Uncuts) are… very realistic. They have veins, and pores, and you can even see the frenulum very clearly. To the extent that all these models can be a little triggering for some people, because they’re lifelike to an extent that it can be creepy (the Uncanny Valley theory was pointed out to me by my partner who freaked out when he saw Alan for the first time). I personally have no problem with realism in dildos. As it turned out, actually my vagina really likes realistic dildos. They feel… familiar. They evoke a – Well, hello again, I think we’ve met before, I like you! – response in my body.

Despite how boring, and average sized a dildo (with its 1.54″ diameter and 6.5″ insertable length) Alan seems to be, it is not. It is so much more than meets the eye. It just feels absolutely natural. Long enough to be comfortable for me to hold it and use it by myself, girthy enough to be filling, while at the same time not being a challenge to take in right away.

The newer O2s are unlike the first generation O2s which had a matte shaft and glossy silicone penis glans. The whole toy is made of the same material in this case. It feels a bit more tacky and definitely attracts all the dirt, fluff, dust and hair. Alan is different from most Tantus dildos in another way: it still has a flared base, but a much smaller one. It’s teardrop shaped, like the one on Slick. Which makes Alan almost unable to stand upright. Which is a little annoying, because one of the great features dildos have is their ability to stand upright and dry out or wait for you to reach out for them without actually touching any surfaces (very hygienic and handy if you’re using several toys per play session or just drying out toys after cleaning them). Sadly, Alan usually loses its balance and falls down after a bit. So you will need some tray to leave it in while drying.

How can one use it?

Tantus Alan O2

What I love about Alan is that it’s really versatile. It can be used just as a dildo, but it’s also suction cup compatible, which allows for some great hands-free dildo riding. You can attach it to a flat plastic, wooden or metal chair and ride on it, or have it attached to a vertical surface, such as the wall in your shower (the suction works particularly well on bathroom tiles). I love using it that way, it adds up to the realistic feeling of being penetrated, and also leaves my hands free for using a wand vibrator on my clit, while humping the dildo.

And here’s what’s unique about Alan (and I assume Sam as well). The hole that holds the bullet vibe is really deep. Which means that the whole vibe can go in all the way, not stick out in the same fashion vibes tend to stick out a little bit of other Tantus dildos. Which means that you can have the vibe in while using the dildo with a strap on and not get your mons hurt or bruised by the sticking end of the vibe. That feature makes it extremely difficult to remove the bullet afterwards and switch to the suction cup. So my trick is that when I use the bullet, I lube the hole thoroughly making the vibe easier to extract. Don’t use lube with the suction cup because you actually need that friction for it to work, and it’s also not that difficult to remove.

Alan is a good one for anal play and pegging. It’s not beginner friendly, but it’s not too challenging either. The softness of the material and lack of any ridges or well-expressed bumps makes it a really good butt toy.

A few words about the vibe. It is battery operated and comes with a 1.5 V Type battery included (like any other vibrator by Tantus). It’s a single speed vibe that’s also waterproof. You can use it separately for clitoral stimulation and it’s quite good at that because it’s very pinpointed. But don’t get me wrong, it’s not We-Vibe Tango, and when inserted in the toy it clearly feels weaker. So if you own a more powerful bullet vibe, there’s nothing that stops you from using it with any Tantus dildo.

Last thoughts

Alan taught me that I cannot judge a toy entirely by its looks, nor even by how it feels in my hands. It surprised me in many delightful ways and I am thankful to Tantus for giving it to me to review. It showed me how narrow-minded I was when it came to dildos and their shapes. Alan might look like a boring unimpressive dildo, but it’s not. It’s full of pleasant delights. It comes in 3 colors: cream, cocoa, and mocha (the one in my pictures is cocoa). It might look like a splurge at $129.00, but this is a really good value pack, because it includes the suction cup (which otherwise is $33.60 alone).

Tantus Echo Review

Tantus Echo Vibrator Dildo

The meaning of it all…

First dildo review for my website! Squeee! How did I publish 20 posts and not a single one focusing on dildos? The universe is mysterious. Actually, this isn’t just a coincidence. It speaks of the state of the industry, and it speaks even more of the average customer’s preferences. Contrary to the common misconception, “a big dick” is not what women covet. Their orgasmic needs far exceed the crave for a phallus. These days we don’t seek a “replacement” or something that mimics the reality. We buy weird horseshoe shaped gadgets and novelties, we demand that our toys can be operated from the other end of the world, and we’re all hyped up about couples’ toys.

A fellow sex educator who works at a sex store said: people think that dildos are for dykes.

Let me tell you something. Dildos are for everybody. Straight or gay, man or woman, cisgender (identifying as the sex you were biologically born with) or transgender. And dildos can be freaking great. Yes, you are normal. You are not a pervert if you already own or want to buy a dildo. No, it’s not going to replace your partner. And no, you are not going to get “addicted” to it and never go back to “the real thing”.

Tantus Echo Vibrator DildoWhy are dildos so cool? To start with, dildos with flared bases, such as all Tantus products, are harness compatible and anal-safe. They’re easy to hold and you can use them on yourself or a partner can use them on you. Dildos nowadays come in all sorts of cool colors and shapes and don’t have to be realistic one bit. They can enhance your sex life even if you have a male partner already, because you can get a dildo with a different size than your partner’s equipment, and most importantly, you can pick one that has a pronounced g-spot curve. Sometimes you need to start small and a smaller toy is a great way to warm up for intercourse.

To the point…

Tantus is a company that is extremely sex-positive, has a really comprehensive website with lots of information and advices on it, and offers both realistic as well as really creative and unusual dildos. Their boxes are not pornographic or cheesy. So take a deep breath and repeat after me: owning a dildo is fun!

What the fudge?!

Yes, it’s a dick with 5 heads. Echo! The sensation of inserting the glans of the penis is echoed 5 times. I doubt that I am the only one that loooooves that moment, that first slide in, that delightful sensation of the head of the penis entering your vagina or anus and the rim of the glans rubbing against your opening… and then past the g-spot… Ahhh… can this last forever? Apparently it can! It feels as good as you’re imagining it. Believe me!

Sooo… how big is it?

Tantus Echo is 6.5″ long and 1.55″ at its widest (diameter). If you are not a fan of such deep penetration, you can absolutely enjoy it without taking it all in. In the dildo world, this is a medium-sized dildo. Usually smaller dildos are used for either warming up, or for pegging (when a woman wears a strap on an uses it anally on a male partner). A lot of people go way overboard and get a 2″ x 7″ dildo  as their first toy. I would say; start smaller, too big can be painful and requires a lot of building up to it. If you are advanced in butt play, this toy is really, really fantastic for anal penetration because the shape is the closest a cock can be to anal beads. A lot of my Tantus toys are way wider and I am not even dreaming of trying them in the back door, but this one passes the challenge quite successfully. It also has a certain smoothness and roundness that makes it particularly pleasant for anal adventures.

What else does it do?

This toy is quite accomplished at “just” being a dildo. Great for thrusting or squeezing your vaginal muscles and contracting around it. But if you are looking for more, there is more. It’s actually a vibrating dildo. It comes with the little Tantus bullet vibe (included in the price of the dildo), which you place in a hole at the base of the toy. The whole is the same size as most bullet vibes, so if you have an even more powerful vibrator, such as We-Vibe Tango/Salsa, it can fit it. The bullet is a one-speed waterproof vibrator, that is powered by one 1.5 V Type battery (not AA nor AAA, it actually lasts much longer). It comes with the battery, but you need to open it and remove the battery protection. And if something happens to the vibrator and one day it breaks, you can easily get a new one from Tantus, without having to replace your whole toy.

Another awesome feature that all Tantus vibrating dildos or plugs offer is that the toy is compatible with the ultra strong Tantus Suction Cup. This turns your toy into a hand-free joy. You can attach it to any surface and use it as if you’re having intercourse. You can attach it on the floor, facing up, get some pillows for your knees and ride it, or you can place it on any wall or vertical surface and have the dildo penetrate you from behind. If your hands tend to get tired from holding the dildo, or if you like a sensation closer to actual intercourse, that’s a great feature.

As I mentioned before, it’s harness compatible. Great for girl sex, or for pegging. While you’re at it you can grab a strap-on from Tantus too. They thought of everything!

How to make most of it

Experiment with your dildo. Don’t assume how you’re supposed to be using it. Jamming it in and a lot of friction might look great in porn, but that’s probably not how you would like to masturbate or be stimulated. Also try holding the dildo still while “humping” it with moves from your pelvis. And, of course, check out the vibration. You can remove the bullet from the toy and actually use it separately on your clit. A combination of g-spot stimulation from penetration and vibration on your clitoris might be your formidable orgasmic combo.

If you own a wand vibrator, such as the Hitachi Magic Wand or the Doxy, try touching the base of the toy with the wand, while the toy is inside of you. That’s going to make the whole toy vibrate in a much stronger and rumbly fashion, which is another entirely different sensation for you to explore.

Final words

I think that the Echo is one of the coolest ideas Tantus had and brought into the world. I love that it’s not too girthy, that it provides me with the repeated sensation of being penetrated by the head of the penis again and again. And I’ve taken advantage of all the ways this toy can be used: as a vibrator, with a suction cup, with a strap on, as an anal dildo. It’s made of body-safe silicone and comes in two gorgeous colors: pearl white and midnight purple. The reason mine is neither is that I bought it from their Grab Bag section, which has their “surprise” colors, mixtures and swirls. If you’re into some mystery, I’d suggest you try their grab bags because they’re cheaper than the regular price. If you have strong color preferences go with the regular one. If you don’t care much about the vibration, using it with a suction cup or a strap-on, Echo has a version with a longer handle, which makes the dildo much more easy to hold and use (and it also seems that they have a pink one, if you accidentally have fallen in love with mine).

You can boil your toy for sanitation and have the peace of mind that it’s completely non-porous. Basically unless you lose it, or your dog chews on it, nothing’s going to ever happen to it. Being made of the regular Tantus silicone blend, and not their softer O2 line, it’s a little hard and stiff. Shiny silicone has a drag to it, so use plenty of lube (stick with water-based or hybrid lube for silicone toys), especially upon initial insertion.

It’s one of my fave dildos and I absolutely recommend it to anyone who likes texture and doesn’t need a really pronounced g-spot curve. Is it newbie friendly and could it be one’s first toy? Hell yeah!

Tantus Ryder Review

Tantus Ryder Butt Plug

There are toys you are going to see reviewed in every sex toy blog. And there is the rest: the occasional starlets that burn to ashes really fast. You will see them reviewed because they’ve just come out and the company was sending them away to bloggers. People like them okay but don’t get to take them out of the closet very often afterwards.

(Please clear your cookies before clicking on any of my links to retailers. By doing that you are helping me support this blog at no additional cost to you.)

And there are the stars. Stars like the Njoy Pure Wand. Or the Tantus Ryder. Products that over the years people still have kept talking and writing about. Toys that reviewers and sex educators have come to love so much that they are willing to buy them on their own dime, instead of waiting to receive them in an exchange for a review. There are toys you keep using over and over again. Oh yes, Tantus did it again.

Tantus Ryder Butt PlugRyder is just one of the greatest butt plugs created. Ever. Seriously, just check how much’s been written about it.

Ryder is not an anal toy for beginners. If you are new to butt play, don’t stop reading, but also don’t rush to buy it and use it right away either. You might want to check the Tantus guide to choosing an anal plug and start off with something less challenging. Ryder is 1 1/2″ in diameter at it’s widest part, and has between 3 and 4″ of insertable length (depending on how much of the neck is going to be left outside). I would say it’s a great match for intermediate to advanced users. It has a very tight neck and stays put, nicely positioned with zero risk of slipping out. Which makes it a great plug for longer use. It’s pleasantly rounded and smooth, and it’s so incredibly ergonomic. It’s really easy to put it in; properly lubed, the silicone slides really nicely. When unlubed, the glossy silicone has a lot of drag, but that disappears right away once lubricated. You want to stick with thicker and longer lasting lube, such as Sliquid Sassy or Sliquid Organics Natural Gel.

The base of the plug is really small and comfortable, providing enough safety, but not uncomfortable for longer use. It fits well between one’s cheeks. The neck of the toy is nicely bendy and flexible, so sitting or walking around while having it inside isn’t an issue. Ryder is filling. With its specifications and shape it can be a great tool for anal sex prep. Although if you are thinking of double penetration and using it during vaginal intercourse, it might be a bit too much for some people.

Ryder is made of 100% premium Tantus silicone, which is entirely body-safe, it doesn’t harbor bacteria, it’s easy to clean, and can be thoroughly sanitized if shared with partners. Tantus just equals quality. Period. Their toys come in a very tasteful and non-intimidating packaging. Since they’re silicone, they’re among the easiest to store: you don’t even need to keep them in toy bags or pouches.

Tantus Ryder Butt PlugWhat you see in my pictures is the pre-2016 version of the toy. Most Tantus plugs got updated this year: it got slightly smaller and now feature an anchor base, which should be even more comfortable. Ryder also got a new velvet matte finish. It comes in two colors: black and purple. One more thing I love about it is that it’s so affordable (for a high-quality silicone sex toy of that size). Ryder has a retail price of $40. You can find it at Peepshow Toys for just $29 and you even get 10% off with code WETLANDIA.

If you like the idea of anal play and toys, but prefer anal beads instead, check out my review of Tantus Ripple Large.
