Jimmyjane After Dark Gift Set Review

Jimmyjane After Dark

The horrors of holiday shopping and gift buying are upon us. And while a number of stores are still bombarding us with gendered gifts for “him” and “her”, Vibrant provides a gasp of fresh air. A sex-positive store that is gender-free and sells exclusively body-safe materials and high-quality toys. Vibrant is walking the walk only a few others are. Businesses need to walk that extra mile and stop the horrendous practice of “gifts for her” and “gifts for him”. When it comes to sex toys, we should focus on the body parts and bits one wants to have pleasured. While I’ve already written two gift-giving guides, for vulva-owners and for penis-owners, they didn’t contain any gift sets because I was trying to not go overboard with prices. I am also working on a guide that’s going to give you suggestions for couples’ and moresomes’ toys and gifts (and by “couples” I don’t mean just hetero couples). The Jimmyjane After Dark Gift Set is definitely going to have a place in it.

The After Dark Gift Set contains one of the best products ever made by Jimmyjane — the glorious Form 2 clitoral vibrator (before they were bought by Pipedream, sad face). It also includes the Contour Ceramic Massage Stone, and the Afterglow Natural Massage Oil Candle.

The After Dark Gift Set

The set comes in gorgeous gift-like packaging, with a red ribbon and a limited edition red Form 2 vibrator. No need to worry about gift wrapping because you actually want to show off and display this pretty and stylish package. The box is really discreet and looks like a wellness or beauty gift set on the outside, so even if someone finds it, there is no way they can guess the sexy surprises inside.

The Jimmyjane Form 2

Form 2 is one of the most beloved clitoral vibrators on the market. Small, silicone, powerful, rechargeable, fully waterproof, quiet, multi-speed and actually really, really good. If I were to name a few toys that can be its competition, I would definitely have to mention the We-Vibe Tango and Touch, the Minna Limon and the Crave Duet. While the Tango and Touch don’t have really easy controls (they only have one button), the Form 2 has three super intuitive buttons that allow you to go back and forth from its 5 speed levels and 4 vibration patterns, a steady one and three pulsating ones. Another aspect that I hugely appreciate about the controls is that there’s no way I can accidentally turn off the vibrator, since it powers off by pressing the “-” all the way down, and powers up by pressing the “+” once. The third button controls the patterns.

Jimmyjane After Dark Gift Set

But where Jimmyjane shines is by having two motors, one in each ear of the toy. And you can use it in several ways, one by placing the ears on each side of your or your partner’s clitoris, or by using just one of the ears (sideways) for more pinpoint stimulation. It’s a symphony of sensations, and as my primary partner quickly noticed, I seem to enjoy it much more than most other clitoral vibes.

Form 2 also holds its charge for a while. Supposedly this little fellow has juice for up to 4+ hrs, while my Touch and Tango usually die after an hour of use. So sometimes they die on me (even with a full charge) during the course of a single play session, a thing that has never happened to me with the Jimmyjane.

You can buy the Jimmyjane Form 2 separately in pink or charcoal gray for $149.

The Contour Ceramic Massage Stone

I have to be honest. I initially thought that this massager was useless, and pretty much something that I wouldn’t need. But before I discarded it as a stocking filler, or a gift-set filler, I gave it a try. I own a number of hand-held massagers, in different shapes, by different materials. And as it turns out, the Jimmyjane Contour is among the best ones I’ve had. It provides a broad enough stimulation on each of its 4 ends, perfect for sore backs, super tight legs from running or spinning, or just a nice massage night with your partner. It’s easy to hold, easy to use, you don’t have to apply a whole lot of pressure and strain yourself in order to actually make the other person feel something. And because it’s ceramic, it can be warmed up in a bowl of water, which overall makes any massager feel better, whether it’s for purely therapeutic purposes, or just to increase the circulation and get someone in a sexy mood. I find it easy to use on myself too — on my legs, shoulders, or on my lower back.

You can buy the Jimmyjane Contour separately for $25 from Vibrant (full retail price of $29.99).

The Afterglow Natural Massage Oil Candle

Jimmyjane After Dark Gift SetI love the smell of this Cocoa/Fig massage candle. If you are new to massage candles, they’re one of the best things invented. First of all, they’re a much better and safer alternative to wax candles. Regular candles can be dangerous for wax play, if you don’t know what you’re doing, or if the candle is not designed for that particular purpose. You can actually burn someone really badly. This is why oil candles are a perfect substitute. They get hot, but not dangerously hot, and they don’t create a HUGE mess. (If you’ve ever spilled wax on someone’s body, you know what a pain the clean-up after play is.) They are solid at room temperature, but upon contact with the skin or upon lighting them up they turn into oil.

The Afterglow is different from other massage candles in several ways (and I’ve used a fair number of massage candles by other brands). First of all, it comes in a sturdy ceramic jar that wouldn’t easily get knocked down, spilled or poured all over the place. It’s much less of a house fire hazard, and also easier to hold. Metal tins can get remarkably hot, which makes the whole task of pouring oil out of them really difficult and dangerous. The Afterglow candle even has a pour spout at one of the corners.

The candles contains Jojoba, Shea Butter, Vitamin E, Soy and Aloe and leave the skin really nourished. It’s no-cruelty, paraben and petroleum-free. And smells really delicious!

This massage candle is not sold separately by Vibrant, although I hope they will start storing it at some point. Its retail price at other stores is $29.99.

In Conclusion

Jimmyjane Form 2The whole Jimmyjane After Dark Gift Set can be purchased for $199, which doesn’t give you a huge discount on the products compared to buying them separately, but it’s really well packed and looks really beautiful and complete. The set also balances the sensual with the sexy, which is a great thing if you are buying a sex toy for someone for the first time.

Gift-Giving Guide: What to Get Your Partner if They Have a Vulva?

Best Sex Toys for Women

These gift-giving guides are proving to be a really hard work. Duh! But I hope they’re a helpful resource and will guide you through the tricky times of BLACK FRIDAY SALES.

Welcome to Part 2 of this shopping recommendation bonanza. Today we’re going to talk about toys for those with vulvas. Whether you’re shopping for yourself, or you’re shopping for your girlfriend, mother, sister, or wife, I am going to do my best to help you budget your purchases, as well as figure out what might be the toy that best meets your needs. Sex toys are the best gift a girl can receive, but often partners are completely clueless what to pick. If you don’t want to receive a tacky jelly rabbit vibe, maybe you can accidentally on purpose send this article to your loved ones. I’ve tested most of these toys and I’ve consulted other reviewers who have first hand experiences with them. So let me sherpa your way to the instant (well, almost, unless you are buying from a brick and mortar store) gratification that sex toy shopping can be.

All of these categories start with the lowest price, but without putting your health at risk. An important thing to try to remember when shopping for sex toys: always avoid things that look suspiciously cheap. I’ve only included body-safe options in this list, but if you wanna do your own shopping, please stick to these materials.

If you missed part 1, Gift-Giving Guide: What to Get Your Partner if They Have a Penis?, you can always check it out here.

Swan Squeeze Curve Review

Swan Squeeze Curve

Before you run screaming, let me tell you something: this vibrator comes in teal too. It’s not only in pink. Breathe in, breathe out, my pink-hating reader, and keep on reading because this one is really worth it!

About Swan

First things first. Swan’s products are designed and developed in Canada. They feature high-quality, body-friendly, silicone sex toys. They’re most famous for the Swan Wand vibrator. If some of their models seem familiar, that is because Jopen bought the rights for most of their products and sells them under the Vanity line. The newest Swan creations though are sold under their original label and under the BMS Factory wing, which are involved with other well-respected brands, such as Leaf and the improved version Leaf+.

When I saw the shape of the Curve, I knew we were most probably going to get along. But then I found out the whole Squeeze line features smart vibrators. “Brace yourself” was my first thought, because to be honest, anything that claims to be smart, revolutionary, or innovative gives me shivers. All I want is to be able to easily control my toy; too many promises of high-tech features fail greatly in this industry.

I am not afraid to admit how wrong I was. The Swan Curve is just a joy to operate and use.

The Curve is one of the three vibrators in the Squeeze line. The Swan Kiss is a clitoral vibrator. The Swan Hug is their rabbit-style vibrator (that actually looks really intriguing and might work for a number of bodies because the shaft and the external arm are flexible). The Swan Curve is their internal vibrator, and actually works really well for external use too.

Packaging

The Swan Curve comes in a small box in a color that matches the one of the vibrator you got (teal or pink). It closes with a magnet lock, and contains a visually appealing booklet with a manual, a black satin storage bag and the USB recharger (no wall adapter included).

The product

The Curve has a gorgeous shape. Shape that I can admire both visually and at use for hours. Keep in mind, the Curve is not for size queens. With a diameter of 1.3″ (3.3 cm) of the widest part of the insertable end, and total length of 6.45″ (16.4 cm), two thirds of which are insertable, it’s a really good average size toy. Its neck is slightly flexible, which makes it really comfortable during use, without too much poking or hard g-spot stimulation. The g-spot stimulation is still there even if not in a Njoy Pure Wand or Comet Wand way.

The Swan Curve is made with 100% matte silicone finish. It’s seamless and soft, with the usual amount of drag for a silicone toy. It’s really easy to clean, it doesn’t have anything engraved on it, and doesn’t have any ridges or weird bumps. It’s waterproof and fully submersible and its battery holds up to 2.5 hours (in exchange of up to 3 hrs of charging it). And it comes with 1-yr warranty. But enough about the stats, let’s get to the point.

At use

Swan Squeeze CurveWhen I say it’s easy to operate, I mean it’s ridiculously easy to operate it. It only has one button that you need to hold for a few seconds until the toy vibrates twice shortly. Then all you need to do is gently squeeze the handle on the sides. It’s really intuitive, and by holding it you can create really enjoyable patterns and rhythms that respond to your needs at the moment. If you don’t want to squeeze it, you just need to press the button once and it will hold the desired vibration strength. If you want to change the speed, press again to unlock it, and squeeze until the desired speed again. It also has a feature that actually allows you to memorize your own vibration pattern and replicate it. According to the brochure, you can operate it hands free by inserting the toy vaginally and squeezing your legs together. And believe it or not, the hands-free use worked really well too! It’s not something one can use really long though, because your thighs will get tired after a while. But I can see this being a great feature for dominance and submission, while using hand restraints, maybe ordering the submissive to squeeze their tights and pleasure themselves, punish them for getting tired and not following orders… The vibrations are rumbly and strong; at the same time the Curve is not too noisy of a toy. It’s really ergonomic and intuitive both for internal and external use.

Last words

The Swan Curve is one of the most pleasant and enjoyable shapes of an internal vibrator that I’ve ever used. I can honestly say that I loved everything about it. It’s reasonably priced at $89 and has all the features one would expect from a premium brand. (And let’s not forget that we live in a world where toys much more expensive than a hundred bucks are not even water-proof.)

Here’s a short video I shot showing the Curve Squeeze at use. You can see the amount of pressure needed to operate it, how easy it is to lock a vibration speed, and how flexible the neck of the toy is.

Eva by Dame Products

Eva by Dame Products

In the spirit of full disclosure, I have to admit this. When I first saw Eva online I laughed my ass off. I thought it was ridiculous, silly and I couldn’t see how it could possibly work. To be true, that happened at a time when I was hugely disappointed in couples’ toys and supposedly hands-free gadgets and their promise of hands-free orgasms. That also occurred at a moment when I knew nothing about the company, nor the research behind Eva.

I had to stand corrected pretty quickly though. Great stores that I support and respect started storing it, and positive reviews from some of my favorite bloggers were popping up. I couldn’t pretend that Eva was laughable and wave it off. It had a stronger and stronger presence in the sex toy world.

Dame Products

One of the first things that changed my opinion about Eva was the company behind it (Short version: Alex and Janet are awesome!) Dame Products is a women-owned business that started with a simple idea. They wanted to solve one problem that many products had tried to before: how to make a vibrator that was unobtrusive, that could be used during sex (not necessarily just penis in vagina intercourse), that fitted well, didn’t get in the way, and complemented sex, instead of steal the thunder. Eva was not meant to replace your partner, it was meant to be used with your partner.

What inspired them was the simple fact that studies show that at least 70% of women don’t have orgasm during intercourse. That doesn’t mean that these women are broken or incapable of experiencing orgasm altogether. Penetration and the stimulation that occurs during intercourse are not what makes women come. For one, penetrative sex doesn’t sufficiently stimulate the clitoris, and the vagina itself has very few nerve endings. The clitoris, on the other hand, has 8,000!

The first generation of the vibrator was thoroughly tested and reviewed by a number of couples who partook in the study and its development. Eva was successfully crowdfunded (it actually raised 1151% of the goal of the campaign). You can find out more about the story behind Eva in this video.

How does it work?

I know that’s the first question that comes to your mind when you see Eva. The vibrator itself is the size of a pebble: the main body of the vibe is roughly 1.3″ by 1.7″. It’s virtually feather light. The little arms or wings of the vibrator are a bit flexible: allowing it to fit a wider range of bodies and sizes. The way you “wear” it is by placing the wings between your inner labia and your outer labia. Dame products have a really comprehensive fitting guide.

The body of the vibrator is placed over the glans of your clitoris, but the little arms of Eva actually carry the vibration too, and that stimulates better the internal parts of your clitoris. At the same time the body of the vibrator, as well as the arms, are completely out of the way of the vaginal opening, so intercourse can happen without removing the vibrator, or having to worry about it getting in the way.

The specifications

Eva by Dame ProductsEva is a rechargeable vibrator that is 100% silicone and it’s entirely body-safe. It comes in two colors, lavender and aqua. The material is matte and very soft. It’s small and light, which makes it as easy to carry around as a bullet vibrator is, and it even comes with a little black storage bag. The toy has three speeds, the lightest one is really non-intimidating and I believe can be used even by people who don’t like direct clitoral vibration and are quite sensitive. Eva actually provides a really broad and pleasant stimulation. If I have to describe it, it would be: a really good balance between pinpoint vibration and broad vibration. The highest speed is actually surprisingly powerful. It has one big button that turns it on and changes the speeds. Which means that you have to cycle through the settings in order to go back to a lower setting, but luckily, Eva has only three modes, so it’s not too much work. I’d rather have one big button that works, even if I have to cycle through them, than have a few tiny buttons that I keep missing or pressing something by mistake. The control button is also not too sensitive, so even in the weirdest sex positions, you don’t end up pressing it by chance and accidentally changing to a different setting. Eva is also shower-proof: you can wash it gently, but you cannot submerge it in water (so don’t take it to the bath tub).

It holds its charge for 60 min on the highest setting and 5 hrs on its lowest. The first time you charge it, you have to puncture the silicone. This feels really wrong and weird, but since at least the angle in which you need to do it is very straightforward, it wasn’t as stressful of an experience as I had with other toys I had to… penetrate with the charger. It also comes with the wall power adapter, not just the USB cable, and this can be handy. It also makes it easy to charge (and take with you) if you’re traveling abroad, because you can charge it either via USB, or just get a wall adapter for the country you will be traveling to.

What can you use it for

Eva by Dame Products

Even though it’s marketed as a couples’ vibrator and it’s great as such, it can be used for all sorts of partnered or solo play. Clearly, you can wear it and have intercourse with it, but it can stay in place and enhance your experience while you give oral sex or a hand job, or while you’re being fingered. It’s great for girl on girl time, because the other partner can grind on it and it can actually work as a great lesbian couples’ toy. If you have a penis-owner as a partner, there are a couple of ways you can both have pleasure without any penetration whatsoever. If your partner’s cock likes vibration, he can place his dick on Eva, while you’re wearing it. Or he can grind his balls on Eva, while receiving a hand job or jerking himself off.

It’s also fantastic for strap-on sex. To be clear, Eva is not the toy you use with the harness. You put the dildo you want to use, but the partner topping with the harness wears Eva as well. And that’s super awesome for pegging or girl on girl strap-on sex, because unless one is using a double ended dildo (like Fun Factory Share), the top usually doesn’t get to feel much or anything at all (besides clearly the joy of bringing pleasure to someone). I am actually really proud of myself for remembering to use it while topping a girl this weekend. It works great with a harness like the Joque by Spareparts, which has a little pocket and holds Eva in place even better. Any other panties-like harnesses, such as Bella or the Tomboi would do the job equally well.

Eva by Dame ProductsAnd let’s not underestimate it as a great toy for masturbation. I discovered several ways in which Eva gets the job done. One is if I use my hands to press it and wiggle it a little bit, for those who like pressing a vibrator against their clitoris. A hands-free way is humping a pillow or the edge of the mattress. The latter is particularly pleasant when I was wearing Kegel balls as well, or a vibrating egg. A hands-free orgasm was absolutely possible and actually easy to achieve. Eva is also of great help if you want to use fewer hands. For instance, you like clitoral stimulation alongside thrusting with a vaginal vibrator or a dildo. For once I don’t have to use both hands! Eva stays put and you can alternate your hands for using the insertable. That’s a godsend to me, because my hands and arms get tired easily and I tend to prefer longer solo sessions.

The other way I completely adore using Eva is wearing it in my panties, walking around, doing chores, cooking dinner, or doing my Kegels meanwhile. That usually gets me really hot and “ready” for intercourse. On those days when time is really limited (life, job, kids, the dishes, you know) and I just want to jump in bed and have a quickie, but at the same time, I want to be sufficiently aroused before going at it.

Experiences

DSCN9926 - Copy.JPGAs Dame Products recommends, it’s better to try out and experiment with Eva a couple of times alone before introducing it to a partner. When you do, one thing you need to keep in mind is lubrication. In order to stay in, Eva needs your labia to be dry, because friction actually keeps it in place. So you need to be careful with the lube. Either put it inside of your vagina with a lube shooter, use your fingers to get the lube inside, or just lube up the cock or the dildo, instead of placing the lube on your vulva and around your vaginal opening.

Try out different positions. I feel that the positions that worked the best for me were ones in which I had a really close body contact with my partner and our bodies were pressed against each other the most, because that gave Eva most support. In face to face positions the thrusts were rubbing and wiggling it; it felt really good. Same thing applies for strap-on sex. I actually came roughly at the same time the girl I was topping did: the faster I was thrusting, the more Eva was rubbing on my clit. I couldn’t have wished for more.

Things to consider

Eva is a bit loud on the highest setting, to the extent that it can be distracting. Try listening to some music. Overall having a sexy time playlist is always a good idea, but if it can noise out the sounds from the vibrator, that’s even better. Eva can also slip out if lube leaks out of your vagina, or if you’re having a really passionate session with very aggressive and fast thrusting. One tip to always keep it in place is a pair of hot crotchless panties.

Last words

Eva is easily my favorite couples’ toy at this point. Especially at the price-point of $105, which is roughly half the price of the We-Vibe 4 Plus or Sync. It has everything I expect from a toy these days: rechargeable, body-safe, washable. It’s so far #1 in my chart of travel-friendly toys given its size and weight.

Doxy Die Cast Review

Updated Aug 26 2016

doxy (2)I still remember last year’s Woodhull Sexual Freedom Summit when Crista Anne Orenda, JoEllen Notte (The Redhead Bedhead) and Stephen Biggs were flashing around a gorgeous wand vibrator and telling people how amazing it is and that it could get off even people who are experiencing anorgasmia as a result of depression treatment with SSRIs (eg. Zoloft, Celexa, etc.)  I thought “If two awesome sex bloggers and a therapist are passionately recommending a wand, which isn’t the Hitachi, that thing must be good”.

Doxy Die Cast MassagerThat was a year ago and the vibrating wand was the Doxy Massager. Since then the Doxy Original has evolved into the kick-ass (pardon my French) even most dazzling Doxy Die Cast. And these same colleagues loved it even more. Okay, this thing really must be something else. So I had to order it from the Doxy table at Woodhull SFS 16.

Doxy is… like the futuristic British cousin of the Hitachi Original.

So how is the Doxy different and better?

Don’t judge a book by its cover. Should you then judge a vibe from its looks? Well, clearly there’s no correlation between looks and functionality (and there are plenty of examples of beautiful luxury useless toys), but one can still appreciate and seek beauty in the world, right? The Die Cast is just so gorgeous, and I am the last person to judge you if that played a role in your decision to buy one.

doxy (7)Doxy just released several new color options for the Die Cast. Now you can choose between the original silver one, black, read, purple and white. If you get the silver one, keep in mind that fingerprints and smudging is a risk. Several other sex toy reviewers said that it gets really dirty very fast. Not an issue with the black one. The Die Cast comes with a zip-up storage case, that makes your Doxy more discreetly stored in your closet or easier to transport (if you are one of these people, who would bring a 1.9 lbs (2lbs 13oz with the case) and 13″ long toy on their trip. Not judging, I can totally relate.)

This massager is corded and you will need a power outlet in order to use it. Luckily the folks from Doxy thought this through: the cord is significantly longer than the one on other corded wands (10 feet) it can safely be used world-wide (you will just need an adapter for the outlet).

Die Cast has three easy buttons. The power on/off (it also switches between the steady mode and it’s cascading pattern), and the + and – . It has much finer nuances and the power settings are increasing or decreasing really gradually. The buttons light up (so you can find it in the dark) in and are really easy to use. No clunky switches. Die Cast is really smart too – it remembers where you left off. It will automatically turn on to the setting you were last using it. So no annoying pressing the + several times until you get to your desired power mode.

Upon turning one on there’s something that can’t possibly remain unnoticed. It’s so quiet. To quote my partner: “When I used to come back from work, I could hear you from the elevator (which is several apartments down the hall). I just didn’t know whether you were vacuuming, or using your Hitachi.” Whoever owns a Hitachi knows how awkward and loud that gadget is. The Die Cast is like a nice purring kitten compared to it. Don’t get me wrong. It’s still loud if you put it against to your extra quiet bullet vibe. After all, it’s a wand. And as such, it’s the quietest I’ve encountered so far.

Let’s talk about its quality. This toy is a freaking work of art. It’s made in the UK, unlike the Hitachi which is made in China (no, not made in Japan. The box clearly says “Designed in Japan, made in China”). It’s made of super high quality materials, the handle made of casted (got it, Die Cast?) aluminum and titanium metals and the head is silicone. That is a big deal in terms of sanitizing or sharing the toy with other lovers, because, because honestly,  it’s not easy to put a condom on a wand vibrator. And other non-silicone heads (including the older Doxy) are porous. That means that Die Cast isn’t gonna harbor bacteria or viruses in its material (which is a risk with non-silicone heads, even if you clean them thoroughly). Just a small reminder: you can only use water based and hybrid lubes with it, silicone lubes might damage the silicone head.

Doxy Die Cast MassagerHow do the vibrations feel? They’re deep, nuanced, and rumbly. The feel of the silicone is very thuddy. That could be a hit or miss, and it takes some getting used to, especially if you were a Hitachi addict already. It does feel different. Fortunately, all the Hitachi attachments that you already own, or wanna buy, will fit your Doxy as well.

I need to talk a bit more about the cascading pattern though. The pattern RULES! RULZZZ!!! (Not a sentence I thought will ever come out of my mouth when it comes to patterns.) I never liked them, pulsations, waves or cascades. I used to get irritated with them because they would never get me off, and will just waste my time keeping orgasms farther and farther from me. This doesn’t apply to the Doxy. It’s cascades are genius and often make me climax faster that the steady pattern. My guess why that is would be that the Die Cast is so damn strong and overwhelming, that one needs little “breaks” in order to actually enjoy and savor the sensations.

How to clean it? Sanitizing it is really easy. Just don’t submerge it underwater. You can wipe out the handle with sanitizing wipes or a little bit of hand sanitizer on a wet cloth. As for the head: any toy cleaner or just soap and water will do the trick.

It comes with a 12-month manufacturer warranty, but you have to have a proof of purchase.

Don’t estimate it as a all-bodies toy either. The Doxy is great for men too. It has an astonishing effect on the penis, the balls and the perineum. And there are even “male” attachments for it: they look like a masturbation sleeve. Just go slower, start with a really low setting. And do not press the wand against the balls, I’ve been told it can get too intense and painful.

And clearly… Die Cast is an awesome massager as well. You can reach your back and neck and work these sore muscles. Try it out on your buttocks or legs after working out. It’s godsend!

I can’t write a review on a Doxy and not mention the key word: fully clothed orgasms. Yeap. Want an orgasm through your jeans? Doxy’s got you covered.

What’s not so great about it?

So far I’ve only outlined its advantages and upgrades from other wand massagers. But let’s take a look at my concerns. Okay, I do not own a Hitachi Magic Wand Rechargeable. But the new Magic Wand has a silicone head, and has several power settings too. And is rechargeable on top if it. The Hitachi rechargeable is 1.3 lbs (Hitachi Original: 1.2 lbs), which is lighter than the Doxy. In many ways it does look like that the Hitachi Rechargeable is addressing a lot of the issues that the Doxy does too, while being cheaper in comparison.

And one just Doxy specific disadvantage – sometimes accidentally I press the power button and turn it off, because it’s the closest one to the head and the + is the middle one. That’s happened a couple of times. And is very frustrating to have something shut off, instead of go higher and more powerful.

Tips for using a wand vibrator

Doxy Die Cast MassagerBesides the countless options for attachments, some of which are insertable, some of which are textured and are for external stimulation, how does one actually use a wand vibrator? You can hold it on your clit (don’t start with direct clit stimulation and always start on the lowest setting), on your labia, or simply above your pubic bone. As if showing someone where your g-spot is, but from the outside. You can try using a dildo, or just having vaginal balls inside, while using the wand vibe externally. Or you can even try a g-spot vibe internally alongside using a wand externally on your clit. Just experiment and have fun. And give it a few tries. Wands can be overwhelmingly strong for some people. That’s why the Doxy is actually so newbie friendly. It can start really low.

Of course, there are plenty of BDSM uses of a wand vibrator. Doxy is just great for forced orgasms.

In Conclusion

(Please clear your cookies before clicking on any of my links to retailers.)

I love the Die Cast. I truly do. But I always feel bad and guilty when telling people “you definitely need to have this toy” when it costs roughly $200. Is the Doxy worth it? If you can afford it, definitely get it. And if money’s an issue, more affordable, but really good options, are Hitachi/Magic Wand Original ($59.99), Doxy Original ($109.99) or a Hitachi/Magic Wand Rechargeable ($124.99).

Is it worth getting it if you already have a Hitachi? Again, if it’s within financial reach: YES. It’s really feels quite different. Am I gonna stop using and needing my Hitachi? Nope. I still have a special place in my heart for it, and I am gonna say it again: they feel different.

Buy your Die Cast from SheVibe at $189.99 or from Tantus at $209.99
